Hapjeong bossam with cabbage wraps and makgeolli: Pyeongidambaek
Pyeongidambaek Ppyeo Kalguksu Main Branch is a Korean restaurant on Yangwha-ro 7-gil in Mapo, Seoul, serving bossam (boiled pork with wraps) and kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) five minutes from Hapjeong Station toward Mangwon-dong. On a weekend evening the order was bossam suyuk, bone kalguksu and Bongpyeong makgeolli, with cabbage wraps added for 2,000 won alongside the seasoned radish salad and house kimchi. For anyone who refuses to choose between bossam and noodles, Pyeongidambaek is the best of both.
