Daehangno spicy seafood pasta and pineapple ade: Omil Hyehwa, Seoul
Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is a pasta and omurice restaurant that opened in August on the second floor of a building on Daemyeong-gil, a minute from Exit 4 of Hyehwa Station in Jongno, Seoul. Hungry after a play in Daehangno, the writer ordered spicy seafood pasta for 17,900 won, salmon steak gnocchi for 19,900 won, and a pineapple ade served inside a real pineapple. The clam-rich oil pasta and the rose-sauce handmade gnocchi were both good enough that Omil's omurice and sizzling cheese katsu are next on the list.
