There’s a brand-new dessert spot that opened this August near Sinsa Station! It’s K-Chop Sarada Sinsa Direct Store, where you can try freshly made nostalgic salad bread.

This salad bread specialty shop is great for a light bite while walking around between lunch and dinner. You can eat in or easily get it to go.

The star of the show, the salad bread display, has a clear curtain shield, which feels more hygienic. I visited during weekday lunchtime and luckily almost every variety was available.

Everything is made in-store that day, so both the vegetables and bread are fresh! Let me show you the menu one by one.

Salad bread menu and how to order

The basic K-Chop Sarada was stocked in the greatest quantity. You can try it for the lowest price, ₩1,500.

Potato, cheese, sausage, egg, vegetable egg, shrimp, tteokgalbi (Korean grilled patty), and ham cheese.

Hot chicken, egg tteokgalbi, pollock roe vegetable, and Fold Pork. They’re all combinations that look delicious at a glance!

For items cooked to order, such as hash bacon and whole mozzarella cheese, simply order directly at the counter.

They also make freshness-sensitive items such as avocado sarada to order. If a menu item isn’t in the display, ask just in case!

There’s also a wide selection of drinks to have alongside your bread so it doesn’t feel too dry. There are lots of choices, from coffee and ade to juice, smoothies, and ice cream.

Along with individual salad breads, there are sets with fries and cola. They seem like a good alternative to a heavy hamburger.

There were so many varieties that I spent quite a while deciding what to get. It would be nice to choose one each day and work your way through them.

Packaging and the Fold Pork and Shrimp Sarada taste

There’s a microwave on one side of the shop, so you can warm your bread up. I ate mine as it was to enjoy that crisp texture. But if you heat it at home, absolutely remove the paper holder first!

Five breads come in a box as standard, while fewer are wrapped in paper. The box comes at no extra charge, and it looks so polished and pretty that it would be nice for a gift too.

Open the box and they’re neatly tucked inside. Five fit the box just perfectly! The remaining individually wrapped ones stay in place and look just as they should.

The Fold Pork has barbecue sauce and finely shredded meat, so even one is more filling than expected. The bread is incredibly crisp and nutty on the outside, while inside there’s plenty of sauce and moist sarada—such a good crisp-outside, tender-inside combination.

It tastes just like the salad bread I used to eat at the market, but maybe an upgraded version. The main topping sits on top, with cabbage sarada filling the bottom!

Shrimp Sarada is the most expensive item in the lineup, and unlike the other breads, it has egg sarada inside too, so I thought, it really is worth the price..🤩
