In the evening, when the lights are on, the warm and cozy exterior of Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch is the first thing you notice. There are also outdoor tables in front, so in a season that isn't too hot or too cold, eating outside seemed like it would have a nice atmosphere.

Just from the outside, it felt less like a formal restaurant and more like a casual Western place where you can drop in easily. Plenty of people were dining alone, too! It looked fine for a date, and the mood was relaxed enough for a meal with friends or acquaintances.

What did we order at Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch?

That day at Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch, we ordered a salad, rosé pasta, pork neck steak and gorgonzola pizza. I usually like ordering a bunch of different dishes and sharing them rather than getting just one, and the varied menu at Pasta Gram was especially great for that.

Each dish had its own style, so the combination worked well when we ate them together. If you like Western food, it felt like a good place to enjoy several dishes evenly. If you're looking for a great pasta restaurant in Yangjae, it's worth keeping in mind.

Generous salad with crispy toppings

The first dish we ate was the salad. A big plate came loaded with fresh vegetables and crispy fried toppings on top, so it already looked pretty hearty.

When you think of salad, you might picture just a few light bites, but the Pasta Gram salad had so many toppings that it was more filling than I expected. It mixed several kinds of vegetables, so the crunch was great, and with cherry tomatoes and baby greens the colors were pretty too. Eating the crispy toppings together with the greens gave a nice contrast in texture, which made it even tastier.

Having salad between rich, cheesy or saucy dishes like pasta and pizza felt like a palate reset, so I was glad we ordered one. If you plan to eat several dishes, adding one salad is a good idea.

Thick, smooth rosé pasta topped with an egg yolk

The Pasta Gram rosé pasta comes with an egg yolk on top of a thick sauce, and it was the dish I was personally most looking forward to that day. The sauce already looked really thick as it arrived on the plate, which got me excited. The signature rosé color, mixing the freshness of tomato sauce with the smoothness of cream sauce, looked delicious.

When I popped the yolk and mixed it into the sauce, it became even richer and smoother. The sauce clung to the noodles well, so every forkful I twirled had a deep flavor. There was bacon and vegetables here and there too, so the texture was more interesting than just eating noodles.

Rosé pasta can divide people if it's too heavy or too tangy, but this one was smooth yet strongly flavored, which suited my taste perfectly. The way the sauce followed the noodles up when I lifted them was also great for photos. If you're looking for thick, rich-style pasta in Yangjae, it's worth trying, and for anyone searching for a Yangjae pasta restaurant, Pasta Gram is worth adding to your list.

Filling pork neck steak with rice and a fried egg on one plate

The Pasta Gram pork neck steak comes on a big plate with the steak, rice, a fried egg, french fries and salad. It looked hearty just to look at, and even people who find pasta or pizza a bit unsatisfying on their own could have a filling meal by adding the pork neck steak.

The pork came with plenty of dark sauce, and it paired really well with the rice. The sauce blended nicely into the rice, so it was easy to eat a bite of steak together with rice. The fried egg on the side was a highlight too. I popped the yolk, mixed it into the rice, and topped it with the pork neck steak, which made it much smoother and richer.

With french fries and salad on the same plate, there was a fun variety of things to pick from on a single dish. If you visit with several people, it would also be good to put it in the middle and share a little at a time.

Gorgonzola pizza with proper cheese flavor

The last dish we ate was the Pasta Gram gorgonzola pizza. It was loaded with golden-baked cheese, so the savory aroma came through from the first look. When I lifted a slice, I noticed the cheese was thick, and the dough wasn't too thin, so it had a nice chew.

Gorgonzola pizza isn't about flashy toppings; it's about enjoying the savory, rich flavor of the cheese itself. So it went well even alongside a strongly sauced dish like the rosé pasta. Alternating a bite of pasta and a bite of pizza let us enjoy different flavors, which I liked. I thought it's a safe pick especially for cheese lovers, and with a group it's also good to put in the middle and share like a side dish.

Who is Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch right for?

If you want pasta in Yangjae but also want pizza or steak, Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch is worth a visit. Personally, I liked the combination of the smooth, thick rosé pasta, the filling pork neck steak with everything on one plate, and the gorgonzola pizza with its great cheese flavor. Adding the salad kept everything from feeling too heavy, so the whole meal was nicely balanced.

The restaurant's mood is relaxed, so it looked good for many occasions, like a date, a get-together with friends or a family meal. If you're looking for a casual Western restaurant or a great pasta spot in Yangjae, check out Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch too :)
