I want to recommend Jindallae Silbi as a Sadang restaurant and bar for group dinners — a great value spread of 15 dishes served as a full course! This isn't an 'imo-kase' (auntie's choice) but a 'samchon-kase' (uncle's choice), and for just ₩39,000 per person you get to try everything: starting with jeonbokjuk (abalone porridge), then mukjuk (acorn jelly soup), crab, makhoe (rough-cut raw fish), yeondubu (soft tofu), japchae (glass noodles), minari-buchu jeon (water celery and chive pancake), suyuk (boiled pork), squid, pork cutlet, steamed scallops, spicy fish stew, grilled fish, otdolbbyeo (cartilage), sausage, and more. These aren't just token dishes thrown together — each one is carefully cooked so that every single item is genuinely tasty. I enjoyed every dish without a single miss.

Outside: second floor of a food-alley building in Sadang
Jindallae Silbi is on the 2nd floor of a building right in the heart of the Sadang food alley, near Tone Music Academy. From the entrance you get a strong wave of that 80s-90s retro vibe haha.
What is the retro interior of Jindallae Silbi like?

Jindallae was the liveliest, most retro-vibed bar in Sadang!

I heard the owner, born in 1986, put together every little prop and every song thinking back on those days. There are plenty of bars in Sadang, but Jindallae Silbi isn't just a place to drink — it's an old-school hangout where you take home real memories, and a samchon-kase spot that nails all three: taste, value, and atmosphere haha.
Menu, prices and the events running at Jindallae Silbi

They were also running various events — a nostalgic dalgona candy game, a Naver receipt review event, and a birthday visitor event!

We ordered the course menu — ₩39,000 per person for 15 side dishes to enjoy!
- 15-dish course — ₩39,000
What order do the 15 samchon-kase course dishes arrive in?

The table came set with tableware, chopsticks, chojang (vinegar chili sauce), and soy sauce, plus gyeolmyeongja tea (cassia seed tea) served in a Del Monte bottle.

Just the 15-dish course alone fills you up plenty, but on top of that, rice and instant noodle sides are free and unlimited!!

Jindallae Silbi isn't a bar where you order just one dish — its signature samchon-kase lets you enjoy a variety of side dishes at once, served in sequence once you order. Seafood dishes, boiled pork, pancakes, seasonal dishes and more all come out one after another, so you never have to agonize over what to order, and everyone in your group ends up satisfied!

Next came makhoe, grilled flounder, pork cutlet, and minari-buchu jeon one after another — the table filled up so fast there was barely room to set everything down :) From start to finish, the course kept coming without a dull moment, and it felt like a spot everyone could enjoy!

The spicy fish stew that came out last was loaded with cod milt, tofu, bean sprouts and other vegetables — adding the free instant noodles from the self-serve bar made the perfect finish to the course!

If you're looking for a special meal with good company, I recommend Jindallae Silbi as a Sadang restaurant and bar for group dinners — go enjoy the great-value 15-dish samchon-kase course!
