I tried the Meda Bag Rattan Bag as a bag for spring and summer. I’ve always liked rattan accessories with a resort feel, and carrying this bag made it possible to enjoy that kind of mood in everyday life too.

How is the brown color for everyday use?
It came in brown and beige, and I chose brown. The design is simple and the color is easy to wear, so I thought it would go well with all kinds of outfits. When I carried it myself, it felt light enough to use comfortably while out and about.

When I first received it, I liked how neatly it held its shape. The price range also felt reasonable, though I didn’t make a note of the exact price. I thought it would be a bag I’d reach for often, not only at a resort but in everyday life too.

I carried it as soon as it arrived. I liked the design, color, and overall setup so much that I wanted to take it out right away, even for a day at work.

What is the weave like up close?
Looking at it closely, the weave felt tidy and sturdy. I tend to pay attention to texture and neat finishing, so I especially liked this part.
Because it is made of rattan, I thought it might be easy to carry even during a very rainy summer. That said, I have not actually used it on a rainy day.

How much can it hold for an outing?
When I had to head out in a hurry, I put in wet wipes, a portable speaker, a snack bag, and more. The bag was a good size, so it held most of what I needed that day. There is also a separate pocket inside, which was handy for dividing up smaller items.

There is a zipper at the top of the bag, so I could put my belongings inside and close it up. The zipper section felt sturdy too, making it easy to keep everything neatly packed.

Was it comfortable on the shoulder?
The shoulder strap had a suitable thickness, and when I wore it, it did not feel burdensome or uncomfortable on my shoulder. I also liked the neat weave on the strap.
Carrying the bag made me think about clothes to wear at a resort and my next trip. I have not used it on an actual trip, but I liked that it could make everyday life feel like I was looking forward to one.
