Chuncheon Myeongdong cold noodle spot with a giant rib: Sinbi Myeonok
Sinbi Myeonok Chuncheon Myeongdong (신비면옥) is a naengmyeon (chilled buckwheat noodle) and galbitang restaurant at 64 Jungang-ro in Chuncheon, Gangwon. Dining solo, the writer ordered the large udae naengmyeon for 17,000 won, a Hamhung-style spicy bowl topped with a club-sized beef rib, plus three thick slices of yukjeon (pan-fried beef) for 14,000 won. With a wide, comfortable dining room, table kiosk ordering and a self-serve bar, Sinbi Myeonok works equally well for a solo meal, a family dinner or a group gathering.
