Sweet potato bagels at Pink Wall Cafe, a bakery café in Yeongjong

Pink Wall Cafe is a pink bakery café with a garden in Eulwang-dong, Yeongjong, Incheon. Stopping in on the way back from lunch, the writer ordered a sweet potato bagel at 6,000 won, a mocha cream cheese bagel, a black sesame einspänner and a Pink Wall ade, and the sweet potato bagel packed with filling was the clear favourite. Between taking photos and walking the garden, Pink Wall Cafe turned into a much longer stop than planned.

Yeongjong Korean restaurant near Inspire, medium-spice ribs: 300°C

300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch is a seafood and braised short rib restaurant on Masiran-ro in Yeongjong, Incheon, close to Eulwangni Beach, Wangsan Beach and Inspire, so it works as a stop on a drive around the island. Ordered at medium spice, the haemul deunggalbijjim (braised short ribs with seafood) came with octopus, abalone, squid, roe, fish milt, rice cakes and short ribs already off the bone, followed by refills of self-serve bean sprouts and a fried rice finish. From the seaweed soup to the last spoon of fried rice nothing missed, so 300°C Seafood Galbi belongs on a Yeongjong Korean-food list.
