Bucheon pub for potato Ambrosia pizza and zero cola: People & Peoples
In short
People & Peoples is a pub in Sangdong, Bucheon, on Gilju-ro 121beon-gil, built around pastry pizza. The writer ordered the Ambrosia pastry pizza, last month's No. 1 menu item, with a zero cola and loved the crispy pastry crust topped with potato slices and the cheese that stayed soft and stretchy long after serving. If you want something different from regular pizza, the Ambrosia pastry pizza at People & Peoples is a great fit.

I was looking for a place with a nice atmosphere where I could eat lightly and chat, and that's how I found People & Peoples (피플앤피플즈) in Sangdong, Bucheon. I heard the vibe was good and the pizza menu was unusual, so I went to check it out.

People & Peoples location, hours and parking
People & Peoples is at 17-28 Gilju-ro 121beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, on the 1st floor of the Gukcheon Building, and it's open every day from 16:00 to 02:00. There's paid underground parking, and there are some spots along the roadside too.
People & Peoples is built around an upscale atmosphere and high-quality dishes to suit every customer's taste, and our goal is "Whatever side dish you order, it's delicious!"

What's the atmosphere like at People & Peoples?
The whole place is softly lit, so it was easy to sit back and spend time. It isn't too loud, and it's just right for talking, so it works well for friends or couples.
There's group seating too, so you could even rent out the whole place for a company dinner. It felt like the mood picks up in the evening, so it would suit a light drink with a meal. There's also a terrace, and on a nice day you'll want to eat outside.

Pizza by hand: the sink and restroom location
Pizza is all about eating with your hands, right? People & Peoples has a sink inside the store where you can wash up neatly afterward. There are also wet wipes on every table. (The restroom is a bit of a walk to the right once you go outside, so bring tissues!)

People & Peoples menu
The menu is varied: beer set menus, lasagna, pastry pizza, gambas, salads, fruit, dry snacks, pasta, fried dishes, tacos and soups. It's a pizza place, so pizza had the most options.

Ordering the Ambrosia pastry pizza and a Coke Zero
I ordered the Ambrosia pastry pizza and a Coke Zero. Unlike regular pizza, the dough is pastry (puff pastry), so the texture is clearly different from the first bite.
I only found out after ordering that the Ambrosia pastry pizza was No. 1 last month?! Next time I want to try the bulgogi pastry pizza and the Cajun salad.
- No. 1 Ambrosia pastry pizza
- No. 2 Bulgogi pastry pizza
- No. 3 Gambas al ajillo
- No. 4 Burrata cheese salad
- No. 5 Cajun salad

What's the texture of the Ambrosia pastry pizza like?
One bite and it's crispy outside and moist inside. If you've never had pastry, think of it like nunetinne (a crispy, airy Korean pastry snack), haha. It was my first time having pastry pizza, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who loves pizza! I'm smitten 😻

I thought the white powdery stuff on top was cheese, but it was potato slices. They go together better than you'd expect, and the texture is so addictive that I kept reaching for more!
Toppings like shrimp, pepperoni and sweet potato are laid on in just the right amount, so it wasn't greasy and the balance was good. The cheese kept stretching even after some time had passed. Some cheese turns chewy fast, but the cheese on People & Peoples' pizza stayed soft.

See those layers of pastry? It has a distinct buttery flavor, so it tasted richer than regular pizza. The dough is thin, so it's easy to eat lightly, and it feels like a dish that goes well with alcohol too 👍

Pastry pizza with Coke Zero
I had my Ambrosia pastry pizza with Coke Zero, but I hear People & Peoples is a great pizza-and-beer spot, haha. Sipping Coke Zero in between, the fizz cleans up your mouth, so it's an easy combo to keep eating without feeling heavy.

Drinks at People & Peoples
Fitting for a pizza-and-beer spot, People & Peoples has a lot of beer glasses. Pour beer into one of those, add some icy slush, and gulp it down, ahh! Other drinks come in plenty of variety too: soju, wine, highballs, cocktails, tequila and more.

Fast chargers at the table, watch charging too
The fast charger is another big plus at People & Peoples! It even charges watches!! It's perfect as a phone stand too, haha.
Who I'd recommend People & Peoples to
- People who want to charge their devices while eating
- People looking for something different from regular pizza
- People looking for a place for a date or a light drink
In a word, it's "a good place to go when you want a different kind of pizza." I'm curious about the other dishes, so I'm thinking of going back 👍
