Songdo Central Park bakery for vacation snacks: basil tomato, Tomoru
In short
Tomoru Bakery is a neighborhood bakery in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, run by a Korean master baker and located between Songdo Central Park and Incheon National University Station. On a school-vacation snack run for the kids, six items (coconut cream cheese, kkamang-i, basil tomato, pollack roe and scallion baguette, salt bread and a fresh vegetable sandwich) came to 29,800 won, and the basil tomato bread, tried for the first time, was the standout. Made with organic flour and natural sourdough starter, Tomoru Bakery's bread is easy on the stomach and works well both as a kids' snack and as a gift.

Tomoru Bakery, a favorite near Songdo Central Park, is a neighborhood bakery made by hand by a Korean master confectioner.
I went to Tomoru Bakery, a hidden gem among local residents that's perfect to stop by on a bread-tour walk through Songdo Central Park. The master confectioner personally makes the bread every morning with organic flour, natural leavening, and antibiotic-free eggs — the kind of easy-on-the-stomach bread that's made it a regular spot for us. With vacation in full swing and snack duty in overdrive, bringing home Tomoru bread has been a guaranteed hit, so I went back again!! This visit was on Monday, August 4, 2026.

What does the outside of this Songdo Central Park bakery look like?

Famous as a bakery near Songdo District 1's Central Park and Incheondaehakgyo Station, Tomoru Bakery is where the master confectioner kneads and bakes everything by hand each morning.

Maybe it's the organic flour and natural leavening, but my husband, whose stomach usually gets upset after bread, actually feels fine here. So this place has become responsible for many of our weekend breakfasts~

I already knew they used good ingredients, but it turns out they use rice flour instead of wheat flour, making this a rice-flour bakery tour spot~ You'd be missing out if you skip Tomoru Bakery on an Incheon bread tour~~
Inside the store and the tasting table

The display case is packed with freshly baked bread~ A familiar taste is a scary thing — the nutty aroma wrapping around my mouth brought back my appetite that the heat had taken away.

The reason I recommend this as a favorite bakery near Songdo Central Park isn't just the master confectioner's impressive award history — it's that with no compromise on ingredients, each loaf is baked honestly and with care, the kind of bakery you keep craving again after you've left.

There were customers seated so I couldn't get a photo, but besides buying to go, there's also a table where you can eat in-store, a nice spot to enjoy with coffee or a drink.

It's a good-cause shop that donates part of its profits, and they're currently running a rice-flour event and a review event, so keep that in mind. I always join the review event for a free Americano — and the coffee itself is really good👍
Songdo Tomoru Bakery menu picks & lineup
Whatever you pick at Songdo Tomoru Bakery is basically guaranteed to be good, but let me recommend the store's best sellers, which happen to also be our household's favorites.
The cucumber baguette is what got me into Tomoru in the first place — a crisp baguette generously filled with special cream cheese and fresh cucumber.

I mentioned this is a neighborhood bakery I visit often, right? This photo was actually taken last year, and the price hasn't changed at all. These days prices go up almost every time you visit a restaurant, but Songdo Tomoru has kept the same taste and portion without raising prices🫶
I picked the basil tomato bread since it's a store bestseller — one of these and I don't even miss a decent pizza. I'll go into more detail in the review below^^
Kkamang-i (squid ink bread) is also a strong recommendation!! It's squid ink bread topped with cream cheese and walnuts, and my husband's favorite item. If you're looking for something healthy yet savory and delicious, go with kkamang-i~

As expected, both my coconut-loving husband and my kid love this one.
You'd be missing out if you skip the freshly baked salt bread. At ₩2,400 it's almost unbelievable — the textbook definition of salt bread👍

The sweet pumpkin rice bread is another crowd-pleaser for all ages. It's not an artificial sweetness but a clean sweetness that highlights the pumpkin itself, which is why my parents love it so much — and it's funny how the things popular in our house always turn out to be store bestsellers, so it feels like our taste is officially validated.

The pollack roe scallion baguette I finish off entirely by myself, sitting right there.🤣🤣

The sandwiches are filling enough to sub in for weekend breakfast or the kids' meals, and the fresh vegetable croquette is my kids' favorite — a menu item that parents who visit always end up buying in full.

There's so much more delicious stuff too, like campagne, Mont Blanc, pastries, pizza bread, and sliced loaves^^
They also have various cookie sets, meringue cookies, jam, and even champagne — great for sharing as gifts. The cookies come in pretty packaging too, so they're nice to give to people around you.
The premium cakes, which change with the season, are also really delicious. The famous roll cake and the mango-loaded fresh cream cake are reasonably priced too, so I think I'll come back soon just for cake.

Taste review of the bread I bought

If you ask, they'll cut the bread for you neatly, easy to eat. This time I got a mix of my usual favorites and the store's bestsellers.

Pollack roe scallion baguette
Between the crisp baguette layers, there's a generous filling of umami-packed pollack roe and a sharp, sweet scallion sauce — the sweet-and-salty combo is seriously addictive.

Coconut cream cheese
The generous coconut on the outside gives a subtle aroma and crunch, harmonizing beautifully with the rich cream cheese inside.
Basil tomato bread
This was my first time buying it — I was curious since it's a bestseller. Wow, why didn't I try this sooner~~ The fragrant basil pesto, bursting tomatoes, and cream cheese come together for a flavor that feels more like authentic Italian cooking than bakery bread. Recommended 🫶
Kkamang-i
Covered outside in crisp walnuts, this heavy, chewy squid-ink dough is packed with salty cream cheese inside — the more you chew, the more the clean, nutty flavor comes through.
Fresh vegetable croquette
The crisp texture of fresh vegetables paired with a ham, cheese, and egg salad and a clean dressing makes this light and fresh enough to eat without guilt — it doubles as a weekend breakfast substitute for our family. A sandwich that feels like a healthy, filling meal^^
Salt bread
Savory and crisp outside, with a rich buttery cavern inside that's moist and hits just the right salty note — the textbook definition of salt bread.
Visit tips and final thoughts

Tomoru Bakery, my go-to neighborhood bakery, makes healthy bread that's easy to digest, making it perfect for kids and for gifting to family and friends — a great bakery in Songdo. That same afternoon, my kid's friends came over and I gave them this as a snack, and it was a huge hit^^
Popular items tend to sell out if you visit late in the afternoon, so if you want to see the full lineup, I'd recommend going before 3–4pm. If you're looking for a delicious bakery near Songdo Central Park that's both easy on the stomach and full of flavor, definitely stop by Tomoru Bakery^^
