In short
Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch is a Korean seafood restaurant on Beotkkot-ro in Yeonsu, Incheon, serving chive octopus stir-fry (buchu nakji bokkeum) and braised dishes. At Friday-evening peak time, a family with a child ordered 2 portions of medium-spicy chive octopus stir-fry (₩15,500 per portion) and cheese snowflake fried rice (₩5,000). Last Friday evening! My family went to Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch (해목정 연수본점), a well-known Korean restaurant in Yeonsu, for dinner~ It's been featured in the media several times, so I went with high hopes, and to tell you the conclusion first, we were completely satisfied haha. Let me share the story of our visit during the Friday evening peak hours~
Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch: Opening Hours and Parking
Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch is on the 2nd floor at 120 Beotkkot-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and it's open 11:00–21:50. There's a break time from 15:00 to 16:00, last order is at 21:00, and there's no break time on weekends. For parking, you can use the building's parking lot.

Friday Evening Peak Time: Waiting and Parking
At Friday-evening peak time, Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch was busy enough that there was a bit of a wait. And yes, there were really a lot of customers..! It was bustling.
There is parking right in front of the building, but maybe because it was a Friday evening, the lot was a bit crowded. If you're visiting at peak time, there may be no spot left, so I recommend planning ahead to use a nearby public parking lot!

Ordering Two Portions of Chive Octopus Stir-Fry: What Comes with It?
At Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch, we ordered two portions of chive octopus stir-fry (buchu nakji bokkeum, ₩15,500 per portion) the moment we sat down haha

Squid Seaweed Soup: A Little Spicy for Kids
After we ordered, the side dishes came out along with a refreshing seaweed soup with squid in it. I tried the broth first, and thanks to the seafood, the savory depth was amazing.
But we came with our child, right? I think a little chili goes into the broth of this seaweed soup, because it was slightly spicy! My kid took one sip, said "Mom, it's spicy!" and couldn't really eat it, which was a bit of a shame. If you're visiting with kids, keep this in mind!!

Haemokjeong Chive Octopus Stir-Fry, Medium Spice: How Hot Is It?
The chive octopus stir-fry, the signature dish at Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch, comes fully cooked on the iron plate, so you only need to heat it up for another 1–2 minutes at the table. Perfect for my impatient husband and me lol

I ordered the chive octopus stir-fry at medium spice and it was still pretty spicy! For my husband and me, who love spicy food, it was just right. The octopus was plump and chewy, topped with plenty of fresh chives, so the texture was top-notch, and the sauce itself was so good that not only the octopus but also the cabbage and other vegetables were delicious..haha Spicy, yet you keep craving more, you know? hahaha

Finishing with Cheese Fried Rice for ₩5,000
The sauce of the chive octopus stir-fry was so good that skipping the fried rice would have been a crime(??) lol So even though we were full, we boldly ordered the cheese snowflake fried rice (₩5,000).

We'd have been in big trouble if we hadn't ordered the fried rice T_T They stir-fry rice in the leftover sauce, then cover it with a generous sprinkle of snowflake cheese, and this was the real kicker~~

As the cheese melts, it tames the spiciness of the stir-fry, so even people who can't handle spicy food well could enjoy it gently. We even scraped up every bit of the nurungji (toasted crust of rice) stuck to the bottom of the plate..haha Koreans absolutely have to finish with fried rice, right..hehe
Who Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch Is Recommended For
If you like spicy octopus stir-fry that melts away your stress, you should definitely visit Haemokjeong Yeonsu Main Branch in Yeonsu! The staff were busy but worked together smoothly and were kind, so we had a pleasant meal.
One more thing: at peak times like a Friday evening, parking can be a bit of a hassle, so I'll say it again: public transport or a nearby public parking lot is recommended. Next time I'll go back on a weekday afternoon and take it easy~ haha
