Macho Steak Bucheon is said to have brought over Tokyo's Libera Steak, the one famous as the Choo Sung-hoon steak. I'd seen him enjoying it on YouTube, so my expectations were sky-high!
Libera's 50-year-old secret sauce plus Macho Steak's own special sauce gave it a properly hearty, heavy meat flavor.
And above all, it's grilled right on the iron plate and comes out sizzling, so the juices and the butter aroma were really good.
One-line review: if you've ever been curious about the Choo Sung-hoon steak, I totally recommend it!

Inside, the tables are well spaced and really wide. So wide you could eat like it's your Last Supper.
When I visited, there were quite a lot of couples on dates. It seems like a good spot for a meaty date in Bucheon! But don't worry if you're alone, there are dajji (bar-style counter) seats that work fine for solo diners!

How was the Macho Double Beef Steak Set (51,800 won)?
They put butter on the iron plate for the Macho Double Beef Steak, and the aroma rising as it mixes with the meat was really good.
Honestly, the looks weren't anything spectacular, but the taste... I mean... seriously... even as I write this I want to eat it again.
The meat was thick in front of that sizzling plate, so the chew was just right. Meat is meat, after all...
Slice it up and take it in one big bite, ahh. Being on an iron plate, it stays warm to the end, and the juices were well preserved, so I ate like a true macho.
My companion, midway through the meat, ordered extra rice and even extra corn, haha. That's how easy this steak is to keep eating.
The steak has real texture, and I really recommend it as a steak in Bucheon! The sweet-salty flavor kept pulling me back, and I ended up eating far more than I expected~
My companion cut it up and fed it to me like hamster food, haha. It's a great meaty date menu in Bucheon too!
Is the beef bibimbap in the steak set worth it?
Honestly, looking at the beef bibimbap (rice bowl mixed with toppings) at Macho Steak Bucheon, I thought, "Oh, just an ordinary bibimbap?" Not much in it, so I was like, huh? Honestly. But you have to try it yourself.
The combination of meat and sauce was oddly addictive, and I kept eating it.
Now I get why my companion kept refilling the rice... The fluffy rice has a buttery aroma and it's nutty and delicious!
It's easy to share with the steak that comes alongside, so it's good for a meaty date in Bucheon, and it feels very satisfying on a day you want a hearty meal!
In the end, I scraped the bibimbap bowl clean!

Macho Steak Bucheon is the kind of steakhouse you'll think of on a day you want to really eat meat.
The thick steak on the iron plate with that butter aroma was really good, and the beef bibimbap was much tastier than expected, so I was very satisfied!
