Pasta, risotto and a salad, and the total was just ₩39,000!

These days plenty of places charge close to ₩20,000 for a single pasta, but every time I go to this place I think, "Good value!" Prices are low and portions are generous. It's TO FIND PETER!
Two Find Peter ("Tupapi" for short) is a casual Western restaurant with branches all over Korea, and it's one of the first places I think of for budget pasta. It's not just cheap: the food is decent and the portions are plentiful. This time I visited the Bupyeong branch on Pyeongridan-gil.
I think it's a Western restaurant anyone can enjoy, from teens to couples in their 20s and 30s to people in their 40s and up. If you're looking for a good pasta place or date spot near Bupyeong Station, it's worth a look. 🍝
Where is Two Find Peter Bupyeong, and how is parking?
Two Find Peter Bupyeong is about 583m from Bupyeong Station Exit 6, on Bupyeong's Pyeongridan-gil. The blue TO FIND PETER sign stands out, so it isn't hard to find.
🚗 Parking: There's no dedicated parking lot, but according to a visitor review, you can get 1 hour of free parking at the nearby Sun Parking lot. I'd check that it's still offered before you go.

What's the atmosphere like? Is it good for a date?
With its orange ceiling and yellow pendant lights, the casual interior works for both dates and family meals. The blue sign outside catches your eye, and inside you get a different vibe again.

First off, the ceiling is orange! Add big yellow pendant lights and the colors are pretty unique. Then there are light wood walls, brown chairs and a green tile floor.
The walls are hung with resort-style paintings, and there are plenty of tables. It's not a fancy fine-dining place where you need to be formal, just a casual space where anyone can eat comfortably.
That's why I think Tupapi is a Western restaurant that suits all ages. It's easy for teens to come for pasta, for couples in their 20s and 30s to have a date, or for people in their 30s and 40s and up to have a group meal. It's a fine date spot in Bupyeong, but also good with family or friends.
What's on the menu and how much is it?
Pasta starts at ₩11,000 and salads at ₩9,000. The variety and the prices are one reason I like Tupapi.

Considering today's dining-out prices, I already love that pasta starts in the low ₩10,000s, haha. The menu has plenty of choices too: oil, tomato and cream pastas, plus risotto, gnocchi, steak and pizza. (Prices are from the menu and may change.)
Three plates for two, ₩19,500 each
That day we ordered a Caesar salad, hot shrimp garlic pasta and spicy crabby risotto. Two mains plus a salad, and the bill came to under ₩40,000.

Split between two people, that's ₩19,500 each. I think that's good value even among Western restaurants in Bupyeong.
Set menus and the receipt review event
The à la carte dishes are cheap, but there are also set menus for enjoying several dishes together. If you plan to order a few pastas or risottos, it's worth comparing the set options.

I also spotted another event on the menu! 🎁 It's a Naver receipt review event: write Naver reviews with your receipt and you get free service depending on how many reviews you write.
What starter bread do you get?
After you order, Two Find Peter Bupyeong first brings out two dinner rolls, pickles, and olive oil and balsamic sauce as starter bread.

The smiley face drawn in balsamic is so cute, haha 😊 The bread tastes like ordinary dinner rolls, but maybe because I arrived hungry, even that was delicious, haha. Cheap prices and starter bread included as standard? Value passed from the start.
How big is the ₩9,000 Caesar salad?
The Caesar salad is ₩9,000, and we added one alongside the pasta and risotto.

It's fresh romaine with Caesar dressing, croutons and cheese. The portion is hearty, to start. The romaine comes in big pieces and the dressing coats it evenly, so it tasted rich and creamy. The croutons on top are crunchy and the cheese is generously sprinkled.
It's a good side when you order dishes with rich sauces like pasta or risotto. At ₩9,000, it's an easy add-on.
Hot shrimp garlic pasta for ₩14,000: a soupy pasta?
The hot shrimp garlic pasta is ₩14,000, made with spicy oil, shrimp and roasted whole garlic. This was the pasta we ordered that day.

It looks a little different from a typical oil pasta. The red oil sauce pools at the bottom of the plate, so it almost feels like a soupy pasta? A long swirl of spaghetti sits in the middle, with shrimp and whole garlic around it. Cheese and herbs are sprinkled on top too.
The spicy oil sauce plus the flavor of shrimp and garlic suits people who like something a bit punchier than a mild aglio e olio.
And true to Tupapi, the portion is generous. There's shrimp, plenty of sauce, and I was happy with the ₩14,000 price. Taste, portion and price: "good-value pasta" is exactly the phrase.
Spicy crabby risotto for ₩16,000: too heavy?
The spicy crabby risotto is ₩16,000, a risotto with a spicy cream sauce and a hint of crab. Thanks to the spice, it didn't get tiresome even though it's a cream risotto.

First, the look is intense, haha. The orange cream sauce clings thickly between the grains of rice, with cheese and herbs on top.
It has that thick, smooth texture of a cream risotto with a spicy kick added. A plain cream risotto might have felt a bit heavy, but the spicy sauce kept it from getting cloying. The sauce is generous and the rice portion isn't small, so even one plate would be filling.
If you like cream pasta or risotto but don't want it too heavy, this dish should work. Personally, I find myself reaching for these spicy cream dishes at Tupapi.
Is Two Find Peter Bupyeong really good value?
The biggest strength of Two Find Peter Bupyeong, above all, is value for money. Sure, there are lots of cheap pasta places, but if it's only cheap and the taste or portions disappoint, there's no reason to go back, right?
But Tupapi has decent taste, big portions and low prices. With all three covered, I keep going back even though it's a nationwide chain.
This time too we ordered pasta, risotto and a salad, and they filled the whole table. It looked appetizing, and since each dish has a different sauce style, it was great for sharing.

The wide choice of dishes is another plus: you can order differently depending on who you're with. It works for students eating out casually, couples on a date, or families coming for Western food.
Looking for a pasta place near Bupyeong Station?
Two Find Peter is a nationwide chain, so it isn't a rare, special restaurant, but that also makes it easy to visit. It's the place that comes to mind when you want plenty of tasty pasta and risotto without worrying about the price.

If you're on a date near Bupyeong Station or looking for Western food on Pyeongridan-gil, Two Find Peter Bupyeong is a good choice too. A good-value pasta place is always welcome, haha 🍝
