I usually go to Columbus upstairs, so I'd always been curious about Debi Jones in the basement. I was so excited to finally go, and the moment I walked in the atmosphere blew me away!! Debi Jones is seriously committed to its concept, and the vibe is on another level!!

Debi Jones sits right in the middle of Bupyeong Culture Street, so it's easy to get to, and the layout is so unusual that it sticks in your memory. Columbus runs upstairs and Debi Jones below, and even in the same building each floor has a clearly different concept, so you can pick whichever suits your taste. That's a big part of the charm, haha

You can feel something out of the ordinary from the moment you step into Debi Jones. The owner is actually a former ship navigator, and you can sense real dedication to the nautical concept in everything from the interior to every little prop.

Is the bar seating at Debi Jones good for drinking solo?

Debi Jones has bar seats and table seats, and quite a few people were drinking alone at the bar. I thought next time I should come by myself and quietly enjoy a drink!! It's a perfect atmosphere for going solo and chatting away with the bartenders. I love bar seats, so I chose the bar again today!

The best thing about Debi Jones was the hookah (water pipe)! This was my first time really enjoying hookah, and Debi Jones doesn't just have you pick a flavor: before you start, the staff personally help you sample the scents!

I smelled the scents one by one and they recommended one that suited my taste, so I could choose with much more confidence. If hookah is new to you, don't worry. The staff explain everything very kindly, step by step, so you can enjoy it comfortably.

It wasn't just the drinks and hookah. The service at Hookah Bar Debi Jones was really great too. The owner kept bringing us complimentary treats that were so tasty, plus light snacks that are perfect for nibbling while you drink, so I left feeling properly looked after.

Every single staff member was so kind that I had a lovely time the whole way through. If you want a special experience with good drinks in a great atmosphere, I don't think anywhere beats Debi Jones.

I'd strongly recommend Debi Jones if you're wondering where to go on a date in Bupyeong, if you want a slightly different experience with friends in a great atmosphere, or if you want to spend some stylish time on your own.

I came away with such good memories that I'm planning to go again soon. I want to try all the other cocktails one by one, haha

It's not easy to find a place in Bupyeong with such a clear concept and perfect service, and I'm so proud to have discovered a real gem.
