Saesol-dong eel buffet with high chairs for babies: Songrim Bok Jangeo
In short
Songrim Bok Jangeo Freshwater Eel All-You-Can-Eat Saesol Direct Branch is an all-you-can-eat freshwater eel restaurant in the food town parking tower building in Saesol-dong, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. High chairs and baby spoons and forks at the self-serve bar made it easy to bring a one-year-old, and the family grilled domestic japonica freshwater eel, pork belly and chicken neck meat, with a free bottle of bokbunja (Korean black raspberry wine) around Mal-bok, the last of the three hottest days of summer. Well-ventilated and genuinely baby-friendly, Songrim Bok Jangeo is a family dinner spot worth returning to.

A restaurant recommendation for eating out with a baby: Songrim Bok Jangeo

Why Songrim Bok Jangeo in Saesol-dong works with a baby
We're on a mission to try all the good restaurants in our new neighborhood! Our little one loves eel and lamb so much — she eats it so well that I have to share our real review of today's Saesol-dong spot, Songrim Bok Jangeo, since it's genuinely great for visiting with a baby!
It's close enough to walk from our place, which was such a plus! Songrim Bok Jangeo, the all-you-can-eat eel spot in Saesol-dong, is located in the parking tower building in the food street.
- Parking available (in the parking tower or nearby spaces)
- Baby chair available
- Hours: 11:50 AM–11:00 PM

What are the seats like inside?
The open, spacious dining room has tables with chairs that let you tuck bags underneath! Mostly two four-person tables pushed together, with single four-person tables lining the sides.

Songrim Bok Jangeo all-you-can-eat prices and what's included
Since it's an all-you-can-eat place, you don't have to agonize over what to order! Eel, pork belly, and duck neck or chicken neck meat are all unlimited~~ Once you sit down, you just tell them how many people are dining and the first spread comes right out!
- ₩29,900 adult / ₩14,000 child (elementary school age and up)
- Table setting fee ₩3,000 (not charged for children)

The drinks case is packed with alcohol! Fitting for a body-nourishing grilled eel place, they even have two kinds of bokbunja!!

The self-serve bar has baby spoons and forks
This is the self-bar! They set up the first spread for you, and after that you help yourself to more side dishes or the unlimited eel, pork belly, duck/chicken neck meat — take as much as you want. Baby spoons and forks are here too, along with the sesame oil-garlic combo for the grill and various sauces!

Domestic japonica freshwater eel and pork belly
This is the eel and pork belly they give you as the basic setup when you sit down~ That day we also got chicken neck meat and ate it together! The eel is really thick!!

Being all-you-can-eat doesn't mean the quality is bad, turns out! The eel was thick and generous, easy to eat. Maybe because it's domestic japonica freshwater eel, it's really substantial! The pork belly also had a good ratio of fat to lean meat.

Green onion kimchi, pickled onions, perilla leaves, ginger and more — side dishes and sauces that pair perfectly with eel and pork belly, and I loved that so much~

Grilling at the table with a one-year-old
They grill the eel skin-side down on the heated grill for you! The grill gets hot, so I sat our little one a bit further away!!! Probably because it's such a good spot for family meals with a baby, there were lots of families dining.

Free bokbunja wine for Mal-bok, summer's last hot day
We visited around Mal-bok, the last of the three hottest days of summer, to recharge with a good meal, and they were running a free bokbunja wine event per table — so lovely!! We really did some proper body care haha! The Sejong bokbunja was tastier than I expected!

I like to mix a generous amount of ginger into the eel sauce before eating it with the eel~ If ginger's sharp taste is too much for you, try marinating it in the sauce first like I do before grilling the eel!!

The eel cooking up golden and delicious~ You really need domestic japonica freshwater eel — the flesh is so plump and tender!
Everything on the grill was so lovely and delicious, and it was such a happy meal.

Cheers with the bokbunja they gave us for free~~ Great job raising a kid today!!!! Meals with family are always fun~

Right around the time you add pork belly, they put garlic in oil on the grill! A must when eating meat~~ lol

Grill changes and how the owner looked after us
When we asked them to change the grill partway through, they kindly did it right away. Above all, the owner was so kind that it made the meal even more pleasant. Our little one happily munched on the pork belly too.

The green onion kimchi is truly magical~ Perfect paired with eel!! The seasoned perilla leaves go great with the pork belly!

Our little Minddeulleng loves wrapping her food in lettuce~ haha. She eats a lot of vegetables, so I love grill restaurants like this, and Songrim Bok Jangeo in Saesol-dong has such good ventilation that there's nothing to worry about bringing a baby along!

Our baby ate the eel too: we'd go back to Songrim Bok Jangeo
We grilled the eel well and let our little one eat it too! It's packed with flesh, so it's perfect for babies to get some nutrition! She loved it so much she picked it up with her hands~♥ She really ate so much, I think she ate more eel than me..haha
Great for a family meal out in Saesol-dong, and I'd strongly recommend it for group gatherings or a body-nourishing meal — this was our visit to Songrim Bok Jangeo, the all-you-can-eat eel spot in Saesol-dong~ We'd definitely visit again!!
