Nowon buffet dinner with three salmon sashimi refills: Kuu Kuu

I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, a great spot for family gatherings in Nowon!! Kuu Kuu is always reliable, but when I visited, they even had fresh salmon sashimi! Seriously, as a salmon lover, I refilled it no fewer than three times... The salmon honestly felt like the quality you get at a sashimi restaurant.

It is on the sixth floor of Seoul Oncheon Building, and there was plenty of underground parking, so parking was easy. I stopped by after work on a weekday and arrived around 7:30 p.m., yet there were already so many people there.

I also saw reviews saying there can be a wait on weekends and public holidays, so there is a waiting area outside. I recommend making a Naver reservation before you go, too.

Whew, these days a single meal of raw fish out costs at least 50,000–60,000 won, so I think Kuu Kuu is still amazing value...

Spacious seating and group tables

I visited during weekday dinner hours, and there were so many guests, but the place is very spacious, so you can just choose a seat you like! I picked one closer to the food, haha. There are group tables and seats with private partitions, so it is great for visiting in a group too.

How many times did I refill the fresh salmon sashimi?

Okay, the fresh salmon sashimi that I refilled a whopping three times!!! I mean, they did have salmon sashimi before, but it was not this quality, you know? It was unbelievably tender and, above all, so fresh. I got my money's worth in salmon, for real ^_^

So many kinds of sushi and rolls

As expected, there were so many kinds of sushi. Flounder, salmon, tuna, scallops, squid, shrimp, beef, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), and more—I could not even count them all. There were also loads of rolls and yubu sushi (fried tofu pocket sushi).

Whew, with such a huge selection, I really recommend Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch for anyone who wants to try a little bit of everything—a great family gathering spot in Nowon.

From hot food to the new LA galbi

The selection of hot food, grilled dishes, pasta, pizza, and noodle dishes is enormous. There are probably too many things to try one by one. Everything was delicious, so if you have not been in a while, I recommend taking a little of every kind! And I was not expecting it, but Kuu Kuu's pizza was seriously good. It had lots of cheese and was rich and tasty. The new LA galbi (Korean-style grilled beef short ribs) was incredibly tender and delicious too.

There were also lots of different salads, so I could eat all the vegetables I wanted!!

The interior is really spacious and the food selection is huge, and they kept refilling the food right away, so my satisfaction level was through the roof. Such great valueㅠㅠ

And you know Kuu Kuu is famous for dessert, right? When I visited, there were Dippin' Dots, ice cream, all kinds of fruit, and bread!!! I ate until I was absolutely stuffed that day.

I put salmon on every piece of sushi like this. It was honestly twice as good, and only at Kuu Kuu can you make tuna yubu salmon sushi, haha.

There was so much fresh seafoodㅠㅠ I ate such a variety of things.

Even shrimp dim sum... Seriously, these new menu items are the best. Please keep the fresh salmon sashimi forever, sob sob.

I loaded up a plate with fried food, lamb chops, yukhoe, and fried shrimp—such a variety, and everything was tastyㅠㅠ The staff cleared plates right away whenever I put them in the empty space, which was so convenient.

Finishing with taro milk tea and fruit

...Ah, I was so full, but the taro milk tea at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, a great Nowon restaurant, was so rich and delicious. I had always told myself I had to try it whenever I saw it on Instagram, and the pearls were so chewy while the milk tea itself was wonderfully strong.

Since I ate so many delicious things, I made dessert healthy with fruit!!!! I highly recommend the watermelon, mango, and grapefruit... I ate until I was bursting that day. Diet starts tomorrow. I recommend visiting Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, a great place for family gatherings in Nowon!!!!
