What kind of restaurant is Schedule Cheongdam?
Schedule Cheongdam (스케줄청담) is a restaurant on Seolleung-ro 152-gil in Cheongdam-dong. It's described as a multi-dining space where you can enjoy dining, a lounge, a bar and a café all in one place. My husband had time off, so we finally went on a Cheongdam date after so long, and I got to try Schedule Cheongdam for the first time, a place I'd always wondered about while passing by :)
The moment we walked in, I loved how much more elegant and relaxed it was than I'd expected. It felt less like a restaurant where you just eat and leave and more like a hotel lounge where you can stay comfortably for a meal and drinks too. So fun😋

Schedule Cheongdam entrance and interior
The entrance has a wood-toned wall with a big SCHEDULE logo, which feels classic and upscale at the same time. Like a proper Cheongdam restaurant, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the atmosphere from the front door.

Inside, the space is really wide. There's a separate bar area and plants dotted around, so it feels airy rather than stuffy. The fancy chandeliers and warm lighting work together, so the mood was quite nice even though we came in the daytime💗
It isn't stiff, formal fine dining, yet it's definitely more upscale than an ordinary casual restaurant! I can see why people come here for Cheongdam dates and anniversary meals.

Are the seats at Schedule Cheongdam comfortable?
The tables are fairly well spaced and there are lots of sofa seats, so it was easy to relax over the meal. The window side gets natural light, and each seat has a slightly different feel, so I think any spot would be good for photos.
Even with a good number of people, the space is so big that it felt relaxed rather than crowded. It was the perfect setting for talking slowly with my husband while we ate :)

Schedule Cheongdam menu and how to order
You order on a tablet at the table. The menu is quite varied, with pasta, mains, risotto, pizza, sandwiches and more, so it looked like you could do anything from brunch to a full meal to a drink.
This day we ordered two dishes: the prime chuck flap steak (salchisal, a tender beef cut) and the webfoot octopus fried rice.

Every table has fresh flowers and a pretty bottle, so just sitting there felt nice. The marble tables, furniture and tableware all match in tone, and I liked how nicely the background came out in photos☺️ That kind of thing secretly matters on a date, right... haha

How does the jjukkumi fried rice taste?
The webfoot octopus (jjukkumi) fried rice has octopus, green onion and cabbage in a house-made special sauce, topped with seaweed flakes and an egg. It came out first. A Korean dish at a Western restaurant was a little unexpected, but it fit in much better than I thought!
My husband's best pick! The sauce wasn't just sharply spicy but had real depth of flavor, and the octopus was chewy. Good👍

How is the prime chuck flap steak served?
The prime chuck flap steak comes with chimichurri made from fresh herbs, mashed potatoes and burnt shishito pepper pickles. It was the dish I was most looking forward to, and the vivid pink cross-section looked so appetizing! The outside was nicely seared and the inside juicy, so it wasn't tough and chewed soft.

The steak's own savory flavor was great, but eating it with bits of the mashed potatoes, chimichurri and peppers kept changing the taste, which I liked. The mashed potatoes in particular were super smooth and went well with the meat. The plating is pretty too, so I think it's a good order for a date or an anniversary👍

Sujeonggwa bokbunja cocktail from the review event
Schedule Cheongdam was running a review event, so I joined, and I got a traditional liquor cocktail worth ₩20,000! Ours was the sujeonggwa bokbunja (cinnamon punch with Korean black raspberry), a cocktail that adds the deep flavor of bokbunja to a subtly cinnamon-scented sujeonggwa, at about 10% alcohol.
The cinnamon scent of sujeonggwa comes first without being too strong, then the sweet but rich taste of bokbunja follows, and the combination worked better than I expected. It looked pretty too, so the date mood lasted right to the end :)
Is Schedule Cheongdam a good weekday date restaurant in Cheongdam?
On my first visit, Schedule Cheongdam felt like an upscale space that suits its Cheongdam-dong location, yet not so formal or intimidating, which made it great for a date. Above all, I liked that the interior is wide and the seats comfortable, so we could eat slowly and talk, and the food quality was better than I expected too! Thanks to my husband's time off, it was a day of properly enjoying a weekday Cheongdam date.
