Hanam Misa park-view bakery with an open kitchen: Easy White Bread
In short
Easy White Bread Hanam Misa is a newly opened milk bread (shokupan) bakery beside a park in the Misa housing district of Hanam, Gyeonggi. At Easy White Bread Hanam Misa, the writer watched the loaves being made in the open kitchen, then ate a half loaf of Golden Beurre milk bread sliced 2cm thick with an iced Americano at a park-view window seat. The Golden Beurre loaf's rich butter flavor needed no jam, and the visit felt like a small getaway in the neighborhood.

Today I'm sharing my visit to Easy White Bread Hanam Misa (이지화이트 브레드 미사점), a brand-new bakery in the Misa housing district of Hanam. I love bread and usually hunt down dessert spots around Misa Station, so whenever a new bakery opens I have to go. Easy White Bread is a milk bread (shokupan, soft Japanese-style sandwich loaf) specialist that's already getting buzz, so I went in with high hopes.
Where is Easy White Bread Hanam Misa, and what about parking?
Easy White Bread Hanam Misa is at 36 Misagangbyeonbuk-ro 30beonan-gil, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi, on the 1st floor, in the Hanam Misa housing district. It's open daily from 07:30 to 20:30, has parking, and has separate men's and women's restrooms.
It's close to homes and a park, so it's a nice stop during a walk. Behind the shop there's a lush green park view, which made it relaxing to enjoy coffee and bread.

The parking lot isn't big: about 5–6 cars fit in front of the shop.
Easy White Bread Hanam Misa exterior and open kitchen

Fresh-baked milk bread comes out at set times, so it's worth keeping that in mind.

The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was the open kitchen. It's designed so you can watch the milk bread being made, from kneading the dough to baking.

It felt less like a place to just buy bread and more like peeking into a little bakery workshop, which I found really impressive.

Park-view window seats
The window seats look out onto the park, and the atmosphere was really lovely. I think visiting when the sunlight comes in would feel even more relaxed.

Is the restroom inside the shop?
Yes, the restroom is inside the shop. Many cafés and bakeries make you use a shared building restroom, but here it's right inside, which was convenient. It's a small thing, but it's reassuring if you come with kids or stay a long time.
Easy White Bread's signature milk bread and cutting service

True to its milk bread specialist name, Easy White Bread has a varied loaf lineup. The signature items are Golden Beurre milk bread, rye walnut milk bread, olive cheese milk bread, and soboro chestnut rice cake milk bread (soboro is a crumbly streusel topping).

What makes it different is that they cut the loaf to the thickness you want. Bread usually comes in one standard thickness, but here you can pick 1.5cm, 2cm or 2.5cm, so you can tailor it to how you plan to eat it.

They also sell jam and cream cheese that go well with the bread.

There are gift sets in different sizes too, which would be good for a housewarming or a casual present.

Easy White Bread Hanam Misa drinks and brewed coffee
Besides bread, they sell drinks. There's brewed coffee, a real strawberry latte, a Jeju matcha latte and more, both coffee and non-coffee, and a fresh watermelon juice launched as a new item this summer.

What caught my eye when ordering coffee was how it's made. It's brewed coffee, so it felt a little different from a typical franchise café, and being able to see everything from choosing the beans to the brewing was fun. I was also impressed that you can choose between tangy beans and nutty beans. Being able to pick the flavor to suit your taste should please coffee lovers. You can tell they put effort into the coffee, not just the bakery.
Golden Beurre milk bread cut 2cm: how did it taste?

This time I ordered a half loaf of Golden Beurre milk bread and an iced Americano. I asked for the Golden Beurre to be cut 2cm thick, which looked just right for toasting.

The outside was crisp and the inside stayed moist, so I could really feel that soft milk bread texture. Above all, the butter flavor was rich, and it was plenty delicious without any jam or spread.

The buttery Golden Beurre and the Americano went well together, a great balance. Especially sipping coffee at the window, looking out at the park, felt like a little vacation in my own neighborhood.

Hanam Misa milk bread: overall verdict on Easy White Bread Hanam Misa

If you're looking for good milk bread in Hanam Misa, I recommend Easy White Bread Hanam Misa. Watching the bread being made in the open kitchen and having the loaf cut to your preferred thickness were both fresh experiences. With the green park view, fragrant coffee and buttery Golden Beurre milk bread, it was a satisfying visit. Next time I'll try the other milk breads :)
