La Cuesta Gwangju is a large bakery café in Gonjiam, Gwangju, Gyeonggi, near Hwadam Botanic Garden. Visiting with her in-laws and her baby, the writer took a second-floor sofa seat and ordered 3 La Cuesta lattes and 2 mejubread (fermented soybean bread), while the baby drew with grandma in the first-floor drawing corner. La Cuesta is an easy place to rest with a baby after autumn leaf-viewing at Hwadam Botanic Garden.
Ava Hair Dongtan Yeongcheon is a hair salon on Dongtan Sunhwan-daero in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, in the 2-Dongtan area. At 20 weeks pregnant, the writer went in to cut off long, heavy hair and had head designer Haneul do a bob cut together with a wind perm, with careful texturizing that left the ends light rather than blunt.
