Ulsan dessert café after a family meal: cheesecake, egg tart, Benetto

I visited Benetto, a dessert café in Ulsan, on a family trip to Ulsan! We happened to be near Ulsan City Hall and stopped in, and the coffee was great and the desserts were really good too haha

These days when I visit a café I end up eating the desserts as well as the coffee, and if the desserts aren't good I don't really feel like going back, you know? T_T But at Benetto, everything from the drinks to the desserts was so good that my whole family left satisfied! I wanted to share it, so here's my review~ Shall we look at Benetto together, from the coffee to the egg tart?

Where is Benetto, and what are the hours?

Benetto is at 4 Jungangno 213beon-gil, Nam-gu, Ulsan, on the 1st floor. It's open Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and Saturday 08:00–17:00, and closed every Sunday.

Benetto across from Ulsan City Hall: where to park?

Benetto, the Ulsan dessert café, is across from Ulsan City Hall. It has no parking lot of its own, so you have to park on the street, and the area in front of the café has a yellow line, so don't park there!

City Hall offers 1 hour of free parking, so that could work too haha If you plan to stay a bit longer, I'd recommend parking in the alley further inside!

Benetto's atmosphere and seating

Inside, Benetto is neither too small nor too big. The wood-toned look is clean and cozy haha

The owner must be a tidy person, because the inside was very clean and well kept. The overall mood was lovely. It looked great for a date, and also for grabbing a meal on a workday lunch break!

The sandwiches on the wall looked so delicious, and the ones on display looked just like the photos! If I hadn't already eaten a meal, it would have been perfect for brunch, so I was a little sad T_T

There's more than one kind of sandwich, so choosing among them looks fun haha It'd be nice to try whichever one you're craving that day.

This is the area where you can eat in at Benetto. There's a variety of seats, and plenty of people were there on their own!

Maybe because it was a weekday, office workers rushed in and out during lunchtime? Once lunch hour passed, they all disappeared lol That meant I could take photos in peace!

Benetto's menu has a variety of sandwiches, so it looked like a good place to stop for lunch! There's also a lunchtime sale, so it seems like a cheap, good-value sandwich lunch~

If I'd known, I wouldn't have eaten beforehand T_T

What I ordered at Benetto

At Benetto I ordered a Summer Apple and a café latte! I also got cheesecake and an egg tart, both good as desserts~ The portions were generous, so it was filling haha

How were Benetto's cheesecake and egg tart?

Benetto's cheesecake was dense yet smooth, the kind you keep reaching for~ It was moderately sweet and soft, so I didn't get tired of it!

Benetto's egg tart had a wonderful balance of crisp crust and soft filling! The taste and size were good enough to stand in for a meal.

How were the Summer Apple and café latte?

Summer Apple, a sweet apple drink, has pearls at the bottom, so it was fun to slurp up~ But the drink is definitely sweet!? So I think it would go well with a plainer dessert!

Benetto's café latte had a nutty, deep coffee flavor that I liked~ It looked like a great place to come after a meal to wake yourself up.

The chocolate latte I took home

While eating, I got curious about the other menu items, so I got Benetto's chocolate latte to go and drank it at home! The chocolate latte is really sweet with a rich, high-quality chocolate taste!

If something is just overly sweet I won't touch it, but this was moderately sweet with real depth, so it was really good.

Benetto, the Ulsan dessert spot I visited this time, had great taste and a great atmosphere! There are plenty of sandwiches that work as a meal too, so I think it's worth a visit haha
