Daraewon Makchang Daegu Main Branch is a makchang (grilled pork intestine) restaurant that has stood on the same corner at Nampyeongni Intersection in Seo-gu, Daegu, for nearly 50 years. On a cool evening the writer sat at an outdoor table with friends and grilled three servings of raw pork makchang, crisp outside and chewy inside and hard to stop eating once wrapped with perilla leaf sauce. With its street-stall style outdoor seating, Daraewon Makchang is a fine Seo-gu spot for makchang and a drink.
