Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a long-loved bunsik (Korean snack food) restaurant near Sinyongsan Station in Yongsan, Seoul. The writer took her 7-year-old for the child's first tteokbokki outing and ordered the Hyeonseonine combo set — mild-spice soup tteokbokki (rice cakes) with sundae (blood sausage), mini gimbap and fritters — and the child ate it all, sipping water along the way. A short walk from Yongsan I'Park Mall, Hyeonseonine works well as a play-then-eat course with kids.
