Samseong Station Exit 2 burger set and sweet potato fries: Bas Burger
In short
Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch is a handmade burger restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Samseong Station. On a weekday evening, a writer who is a regular at the Seoulsup and Seongsu branches shared a Bas Burger set, coleslaw, sweet potato fries and two Coke Zeros with a friend, and was happy with the thick patty, the self-serve chips and the five sauces. Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch is an easy choice for anyone new to eating alone or for two people after a light dinner near Samseong Station.

Among the restaurants near Samseong Station, this is a great pick if you want to eat alone, or have a simple lunch or dinner with a friend or partner!

I went to Bas Burger, a handmade burger place. I'd already been to the Seoulsup and Seongsu branches many times for solo meals, so I went in with confidence. And my honest review is that it really is a must-try handmade burger spot in Gangnam's Samseong Station area <3

Getting to Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch and the atmosphere inside
Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch is a 5-minute walk from Samseong Station Exit 2. The red sign on the main road stands out right away, so it's easy to find.

I set off from near COEX at Samseong Station and got there in about 5 minutes from Exit 2. The red sign on the main road catches your eye immediately, so it was easy to find. There are outdoor terrace seats too, so in lovely autumn weather like this it would be great for a romantic date!

With wood tables and brown leather chairs, the mood was clean and cozy. Every table has an order terminal, so we ordered right from our seats. There are bar tables and single seats, so eating alone felt no problem at all.

(There is a unisex restroom inside.)
For two women, a Bas Burger set plus two sides is just right
Two women ordered a Bas Burger set, with coleslaw and sweet potato fries as sides, plus two Coke Zeros. It was a weekday evening with a friend.

I usually eat at Bas Burger by myself, but this time I came with a friend for a weekday dinner. Ordered my usual, done.

Before the food came out, we scooped up some self-serve chips and enjoyed a good chat <3

For two women, a Bas Burger set with coleslaw and sweet potato fries as sides is just right. We also ordered two Coke Zeros. Pretty full-looking spread on the tray, right?
How does the basic Bas Burger taste?
The basic Bas Burger at the Samseong Station Branch is layered with a patty, melted cheddar cheese, onion, tomato and lettuce. There are other options like the Hawaiian burger and double bacon cheeseburger, but the basic Bas Burger alone was plenty tasty.

Starting with the cross-section: the top of the bun is glossy, and inside are layers of patty, melted cheddar, onion, tomato and green lettuce. Bite in and the lettuce crunches, while the cheese ties the patty and bun together so nothing feels separate in your mouth.

Honestly, this burger spot near Samseong Station has lots of burgers, like the Hawaiian burger, double bacon cheeseburger, mushroom burger and shrimp burger, but I find the basic Bas Burger so delicious on its own..! Maybe it's because the meat patty is fresh, but it's a taste anyone can enjoy without any fuss.

The patty has real thickness, so it's definitely chewy! Above all, the wholesome taste of a handmade burger is different from franchise burgers, so I feel a little less guilty, hehe..>33 I don't really eat burgers, but I do eat handmade ones..
Sweet potato fries, coleslaw and five sauces
The sweet potato fries at Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch are crisp outside and sweet inside, so they were great to alternate with the salty burger. With five sauces, you can dip them however you like.

The sweet potato fries are crispy outside, sweet inside..! Crisp outside and sweet inside, they were perfect between bites of the salty burger. A good thing about Bas Burger: there are as many as 5 sauces, so you can dip around and try them all to your taste..!

The coleslaw has cabbage, carrot and corn, so it has a crunchy texture with a subtle sweetness. When things start feeling greasy, one spoonful makes everything fresh and clean again!
Is Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch okay for eating alone?
Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch has bar tables and single seats, so dining alone is low-difficulty. Even around weekday after-work hours, many customers were eating solo.

And of course a cold Coke <33 Perfect for a solo meal too - it was around quitting time that day, and there were really a lot of people eating alone.! (Especially recommended for beginner solo diners: difficulty low)

If you're looking for a good spot to eat alone near Samseong Station, or a delicious handmade burger, I recommend it!
