Hongdae dumpling bar with gyoza that survives the subway: MANDOO BAR
MANDOO BAR is a dumpling bar (mandu restaurant) on Hongdae's Red Road in Seoul, on the second floor right next to the KT&G Sangsangmadang building. The takeout-only taco gyoza and the signature MANDOO BAR gyoza were picked up and carried home on a packed rush-hour Line 1 train, and the toppings, the look and the crisp bottoms of the gyoza all held up. MANDOO BAR is worth packing up for a picnic or a baseball game too.
