This product was provided to me for review. I wore the Everlast Running Wear Layered Set for running and outdoor tennis to check its comfort and ease of care.

Why did I choose it for running and outdoor exercise?
Since I enjoy outdoor tennis and run regularly too, I started paying more attention to what I wear when I exercise.

I used to run in a comfortable T-shirt and shorts, but I would quickly get tired on sweaty days with strong sun. During outdoor runs or camping, the heat could even make my clothes feel like they were getting in the way of being active.

So, while looking for functional running wear that would feel cool and easy to move in, I tried the Everlast Layered Set.

I wanted both comfort while exercising and a design that suited outdoor activities, and it worked well for how I planned to use it.

What size did I choose for a 183 cm, 70 kg frame?
I am 183 cm and 70 kg, and since I normally wear XL, I chose XL again. The short-sleeve T-shirt has long sleeves attached to it, so I could wear it naturally as one garment rather than layering several pieces. For me, it did not feel hot and gave a different look from my usual workout clothes.

Wearing the shorts and leggings together gave me the layered athletic look I wanted.

How did the fabric and sleeves feel when I got sweaty?
The shorts and lower section of the T-shirt are made with woven stretch fabric. It felt substantial while still creating a slim silhouette when worn.

The fabric has a water-repellent finish, and when I ran, it did not feel as though the clothes became easily soaked and heavy even when I sweated. The long sleeves and leggings are made from four-way stretch nylon, and they felt cool and soft against my arms and legs, almost like wearing cooling arm sleeves.

I stayed relatively comfortable while running, and it felt like sweat dried quickly. With this feel, I thought it would also be useful for outdoor running or camping on hot days.
Can it hold small items and adjust the fit?

There is a pocket at the back of the pants, which was handy for wireless earbuds or other small belongings. The long-sleeve section is attached only at the sleeves, and matching-fabric tape is sewn inside the ribbed neckline.
The hem has a string and stopper for adjusting the fit. Left as is, it has a straight fit; cinch the string, and it can be worn in a balloon fit, making it easy to match the mood you want.

How did it hold its shape after washing?
It can be machine-washed, and after I washed it, I noticed almost no change in its shape. Since workout clothes need frequent washing, I also liked how easy it was to care for.

Was it easy to move in for tennis and running?
When I actually played tennis in it, it did not cling to my body and felt light to move in.

When clothes are uncomfortable, I keep noticing them during exercise, but this set was comfortable enough that I was barely conscious of how it felt to wear.

I could focus less on my clothes and move more freely when running, so I found myself reaching for it often on later runs.

Personally, what I liked most was that it combined comfortable wear with a layered design.

I felt the design also suited outdoor activities such as running groups or camping. It was a highly useful set for me because I consider both ease of movement and what I am wearing when I exercise.
