Hyochang Park Station pork cutlet with cheddar cheese sauce: Onjeong

Yongsan Donkatsu Onjeong Gyeongyang Sikdang, Yongsan branch is a Korean-style pork cutlet (gyeongyang donkatsu) restaurant an 8-minute walk from Hyochang Park Station in Seoul, tucked between the Richensia A and B buildings. The writer visited with her husband, who normally dislikes old-school pork cutlet, and their baby, ordering the udon and cheddar cheese cutlet set (15,000 won) and the soba and classic cutlet set (14,500 won); the thick cheddar cheese sauce won him over completely. With a self-serve rice and side dish bar, solo bar seats and baby chairs, Onjeong works just as well for eating alone as with a child.
