Wonju makchang restaurant with 6,000-won clam wine stew: Yeon Makchang
Yeon Makchang Dangye Branch is a makchang (grilled beef intestine) restaurant on Cheonsa-ro in Dangye-dong, Wonju, Gangwon. The meal was two servings of yeon makchang and one of special makchang with a clam wine stew that costs 6,000 won on a first order, plus a ssamjang mixed to taste with cheongyang chili, spring onion and perilla leaf to cut the grease. With almost no chewy texture and no gamy smell, Yeon Makchang Dangye Branch is a Dangye-dong grill house worth a second visit.
