Seonyudo burger restaurant with a baby and stroller: BAS Burger

BAS Burger Seonyudo is a handmade burger restaurant right outside Seonyudo Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Visiting with a baby, the writer parked the stroller at the far end of the room and ordered the mushroom burger set for 16,100 won, the wasabi mayo shrimp burger for 10,900 won and a mozza cheese bar for 3,300 won, and the mushroom burger came with a whole fried shiitake inside. Apart from the three or four steps at the entrance, BAS Burger Seonyudo works fine with a baby, and the refillable potato chips and self-serve sauce bar were the best part.

I'm in the middle of packing up for a move, and to me, packing up a house = throwing stuff out haha. I had some errands to run over the weekend, so my husband, baby and I popped out nearby and grabbed something delicious afterward. Here's my review of Seonyudo's BAS Burger!
Where do you park at BAS Burger Seonyudo?
BAS Burger near Seonyudo Station doesn't have its own parking lot, so you'll need to use a nearby public lot. We used the Yangpyeong 2-dong public parking lot. Parking was cheap and it's about a 5-minute walk to BAS Burger, so it wasn't far at all :)
It's right in front of Seonyudo Station, so the accessibility is amazing haha. It's also close to Hangang Park, so it seems like a great spot to grab burgers to go!
Can you get inside with a baby and stroller?
The interior of BAS Burger Seonyudo was cozy. We visited with our baby and came with a stroller — there are about 3-4 steps at the entrance, so my husband and I hoisted it up together. The place isn't huge, but luckily there was a table left at the back, so we parked the stroller there without blocking the walkway.

True to a proper burger restaurant, there was a really wide variety of burgers — and what I loved was that instead of the usual generic burgers, there were lots of signature menu items unique to this place!
There were also a variety of sets and combo sides. This place is also famous for its fried items, so it seems like it'd be great with a beer if you come in the evening.

Refillable James's Potato chips and the sauce bar
And these James's Potato (potato chips) are amazing — honestly, I'm not usually a big potato chip person because that greasy taste can feel a bit much. But... I think I just met the potato chip of my life? Right here... at this place... at BAS Burger!!!
Seriously crunchy, clean-tasting, unbelievable... so delicious. You can even get refills, so you can eat as much as you want! It goes so, so well with the burgers too ㅠㅠㅠ
And one more amazing thing! You can help yourself to whatever sauce you like — the ranch and mentaiko mayo were especially delicious... you have to try dipping the chips in the mentaiko mayo, seriously!!!
The ketchup is for the fries :) The individual packaging is neat and hygienic.
We just kept inhaling chips endlessly until the burgers arrived... seriously so good... what's the secret? Usually when chips aren't greasy they end up hard, but these aren't hard at all — genuinely crisp!!!
How do the mushroom and wasabi mayo shrimp burgers taste?
The burgers and their friends finally arrived!! Really generous portions, right?!
First, instead of plain fries, we ordered the topped bacon cheese fries haha. The cheese bacon fries were salty and delicious. But if you like things crispy, go with the plain version! With cheese piled on, it's more soft than crunchy.
The wasabi shrimp mayo burger!! It had six whole big shrimp inside, and the round fried pieces are onion rings — the owner clearly knows flavor... such a perfect combo ㅠㅠ. The wasabi intensity wasn't too strong either, which I liked.
And the mushroom burger I chose!! Usually mushroom burgers use sliced, sautéed mushroom, right?! But BAS Burger's mushroom burger has a whole fried shiitake mushroom inside. It was really unique and totally my taste — the batter outside is super crispy, and the shiitake inside is incredibly juicy ㅠㅠㅠ. Plus the base burger itself was rich and delicious, so I finished it in no time.
I ordered the mozza cheese bar too, since I felt like I'd seen it in a mukbang video recently haha! It felt like a giant cheese stick :)

They even give you individually packaged plastic gloves, so it's super clean, and it seems like a great option to take out and eat outdoors.
Such a good meal at Seonyudo's BAS Burger! I'd recommend grabbing it to go if you're heading to the Hangang or Seonyudo Park!!
