Uu sits quietly on the 3rd floor of an alley near Konkuk University Station. Isn't the name itself cute and intriguing?

Step inside and the lighting is dim overall, with a toned-down mood that makes you feel instantly calmer. Instead of loud music, soft tunes play — perfect for sitting alone and sorting out your thoughts!

I went with a friend, and except for 1-2 tables, almost everyone else was there alone..! Given the vibe, I thought I should come back by myself next time... just for that quiet, cozy feeling.

We picked the 'Long Tea', the house signature 'Uu', and a drink called 'Gachihamkke' (같이함께, meaning 'together'). (Drink prices run ₩13,000-17,000)

'Gachihamkke' in particular had a subtle, sweet peach flavor that filled my mouth and hit me all at once — not overly strong, but it gave a pleasant buzz.

After a while of sipping, I got a bit peckish, so we added an order of cheese crackers haha. Sitting in that solo-drinking-bar mood and tilting back this delicious drink, I felt the fatigue and stress of the day just melt away.

What I liked most about Uu was the comfortable distance it gives solo customers — no one feels like they're being watched. A solo-drinking bar itself can feel a bit awkward and tense, right?
