How were the Stella draft beer and Cheongyang aglio olio?
For my solo lunch at Oneul Pasta Magok Branch I ordered a glass of Stella draft beer and a Cheongyang aglio olio. The al dente noodles, garlic flavor and the spicy kick of Cheongyang chili (a hot Korean green chili) came together nicely, and I cleaned the plate.

I came for a midday solo lunch, but after finishing work all the way out in Magok I was so drained~~ I needed a "labor drink" (노동주)!!! So I ordered a glass of Stella, the Belgian premium lager on draft, and a Cheongyang aglio olio with sliced Cheongyang chilies.

Why the empty bowl? The unlimited salad bar
At first they brought me an empty bowl and I was like, huh? Turns out there's a salad bar. I immediately went and piled up a good helping of salad!

Al dente noodles and a spicy garlic oil sauce
And then the pasta finally arrived. The doneness of the noodles was just the way I like it. The springy al dente texture was there, and I loved it from the first bite.
Deep garlic flavor, the kick of Cheongyang chili, and a smooth oil sauce tying it together! It wasn't just sharp spiciness taking over; I could taste the savoriness of the garlic and the richness of the oil, so I kept eating.

The plate was more generous than I expected, and I cleaned it completely. With the cold Stella beer alongside, my solo lunch break turned out pretty great. If I'd had company, we could have ordered other pastas or pizza to try, and that was a little disappointing. Next time I want to come with several people and try other dishes.
