Beef soup restaurant in Gwangju with mushroom-packed usintang: Dugeori
Dugeori Usintang Gwangju Imam Branch is a beef soup restaurant in the Hyocheon district of Imam-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju. For lunch we ordered galbitang (short rib soup) at 14,000 won plus the signature usintang to compare the clear broth with the spicy one, wrapped the beef in fresh perilla leaves topped with sauce, and finished with sungnyung (scorched-rice tea) from the glutinous pot rice. With its own parking lot right out front and no break time, Dugeori Usintang is an easy pick for a family meal.
