Nowon gamjatang for three with ugeoji sari and fried rice: Somunnan
Somunnan Gamjatang is a gamjatang (pork bone stew) restaurant near Sangye Station in Nowon, Seoul, in the same spot since 1995. On a rainy weekday evening, a family of three ordered the small gamjatang with an extra serving of ugeoji (outer cabbage leaves), then finished with the included hand-torn dumpling sari and fried rice topped with plenty of perilla seed powder. Somunnan Gamjatang is a good call when you want one hearty, steaming bowl to fill you up.
