Cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin: HEEDA charcoal balm
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin. I used its sherbet-like texture by melting it into an oil, then emulsifying it with water; it also removed waterproof eyeliner gently. Verdict: a fresh, moisturized finish after cleansing.

How did it feel on dehydrated oily skin?

I have dehydrated oily skin, so I tend to get breakouts if I do not cleanse thoroughly enough. This product starts out with a firm, sherbet-like texture rather than a runny oil, which made it easy to use.

It is a black cleansing balm containing Korean Jirisan charcoal, and the size I checked was 100ml. Naturally derived ingredients such as mugwort, moringa, white rice flower extract, and camellia oil were also listed.

How did I use the cleansing balm?

- I spread it evenly over my dry face.
- I rolled it in with my fingers in circular motions, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores concerned me.
- I lightly rolled it over heavier makeup too, then added a little water to emulsify it.
- After rinsing with lukewarm water, I used cleansing foam lightly.

What did I pay attention to when rolling and emulsifying?

I rolled it thoroughly until the sherbet texture melted like an oil, then wet my fingertips and emulsified it just enough that it did not run. You may feel little grains while rolling; the original guidance explained this as a natural phenomenon in which sebum granules come out.

Was the container convenient to carry?

The one-touch cap was easy to open, and a mini spatula for scooping out the balm was built into the inside of the lid. With a structure that holds the spatula in place and a sturdy plastic hygiene cover, I thought it would be nice for removing everyday makeup or taking on trips.

Did it remove waterproof eyeliner well?

I put a small amount of cleansing balm on the back of my dry hand and gently rolled it over Clio Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner. Once I rubbed until the texture melted like a cream, it came off without irritation.

How did it feel after use?

After the hand test, the residue wiped away cleanly with a wet wipe. Rather than feeling dry or oily, the wiped area felt moisturized and refreshed, like the back of a hand with hand cream on it.
