Family dinner with kids and parents: Daedae Myeonok in Uijeongbu
Daedae Myeonok is a Korean restaurant near Costco in Minrak-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi, known for naengmyeon and mandu jeongol (dumpling hot pot). On a weekend of solo parenting, the writer brought parents and kids for a 3-person aromsatae mandu jeongol course with hand-made dumplings, fish cake skewers and a kalguksu noodle finish. Wide parking and a menu that pleases both adults and kids made it a solid pick for a three-generation family meal.
