Jeonbokchon is a Korean restaurant in Namdong, Incheon, serving whole abalone in neatly prepared set meals. I enjoyed the 39,000 won per-person abalone set, including abalone with geu sauce, raw abalone, and seafood scorched-rice soup, and especially appreciated the attentive portioning service and range of private rooms. Verdict: Reserve Jeonbokchon for a parents’ meal or family gathering.
Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is a bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan. Fresh breads kept coming out, with fig campagne, chocolate scones, salt bread, and white rolls among the picks, plus seating from tables for two to large groups. Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is a great stop for family gatherings or dates.
Minyeong Hwareo Gongjang Moraenae Market Branch is a sushi and sashimi takeout shop in Namdong, Incheon. Its lunchtime display sold quickly but was promptly restocked, and I took home flounder, salmon, and special sushi. Verdict: A great stop for fresh sushi thanks to the rapid turnover.
