The staff said the interior was inspired by the Titanic's ballroom, and it really felt like stepping into a vintage, classic Italian hotel. It's the kind of space everyone from kids to grandparents would like, so it works for hanging out with friends, a date or a family gathering haha.
Bueokgan Sangmu Branch menu and review event
The menu has plenty of Western dishes, including pizza, pasta, steak and risotto. There are also set menus at more reasonable prices, so keep those in mind when you order~!

There was also a Naver review event going on, and you get a free pastry pie for joining. I was too full to take part, but I think you should give it a try haha.
What we ordered at Bueokgan Sangmu Branch

We ordered the baby cabbage Caesar salad, lasagna and truffle mushroom pizza! I thought it would take a while because of the pizza, but it came out faster than expected, and best of all the staff were so kind ^.^

What does the baby cabbage Caesar salad taste like?
Bueokgan's baby cabbage Caesar salad is a Caesar salad with grilled baby cabbage topped with plenty of sun-dried tomatoes, bacon chips, fried onion flakes and cheese. The texture of the grilled cabbage was so good, it was really delicious! And the dressing isn't overpowering, so it goes nicely with the other dishes too!

It's a fresh, tangy Caesar, so it's tasty on its own, but it also pairs surprisingly well with other dishes like the lasagna and pizza! It went especially well with the lasagna, so I kept eating them together like this lol.

Is the truffle mushroom pizza okay if you don't like mushrooms?
Bueokgan's truffle mushroom pizza is baked with a homemade tomato sauce base and chewy mushrooms, then finished with truffle oil and green onion. When it arrived, the strong truffle aroma hit first and I got so excited! It's loaded with cheese too, and when you lift a slice the cheese stretches like that. Amazing, right?!

It's topped generously with several kinds of mushrooms, so the rich mushroom aroma and chewy texture were the highlight. Personally I'm not a big mushroom fan, but I enjoyed the truffle mushroom pizza so much haha. You can also add hot sauce or pickles to taste for an even better bite!

I always order pizza whenever I come to Bueokgan, and the dough itself is so good that every pizza I've tried has been delicious. It's chewy, nutty and mild, and honestly great even on its own! This time we also ordered lasagna and ate them together like this, and it went so well, just like bread, and was so tasty haha.

Is Bueokgan's lasagna heavy?
Bueokgan's lasagna is made with house-simmered ragù, wide lasagna sheets, and layers of eggplant and cheese. I ordered it because I was captivated by the look of the one at another table haha. See how the cheese stretches?! It was my first time having lasagna and I had high hopes, and it was even better than I expected! The homemade ragù was rich and hearty but not overwhelming, so good.

Why you should order the lasagna with the baby cabbage Caesar salad
With plenty of cheese and eggplant, Bueokgan's lasagna isn't as heavy as you'd expect and is just right to enjoy. Pickles go well with it too, but my recommendation is the baby cabbage Caesar salad! It's a perfect match for the lasagna, and I'd order it this way again next time haha. If you order both, definitely try eating them together like that!
