What color and design did I choose for travel?
While planning my Florida trip, I looked for a bag that would be light to carry while still offering plenty of room. The one I prepared this time is the Meda Bag women's summer shoulder bag. I thought its natural-looking weave suited the feel of summer really well.
It came in two colors, brown and beige, and I chose brown for its natural feel. When I received it, the warm tone went beautifully with the bag's weave.
On my first look, the finishing was neat and the weave felt quite sturdy. I also liked that the bag held its shape securely, not just that it looked nice.
It seems like a design that would go naturally with a dress, a linen shirt, or denim. Rather than using it only at a resort, I thought it would be nice to carry in everyday life too.

The inside was roomier than it looked. It fit my phone, wallet, sunglasses, pouch, and even a small water bottle, so I felt it would be great for the things I need to bring along while traveling.
I also liked that I could close the opening with a zipper. I tend to worry about walking around at a destination with my bag left open, so I thought the zip closure would ease that concern.
There is also a divided storage pocket inside. It was handy for keeping little things such as lip balm or a card wallet separately, so my belongings would not get mixed together.
How did it feel on the shoulder?
As a shoulder bag, it was a length that rested naturally on my shoulder, and it felt comfortable to wear. It felt light and not burdensome while I carried it, so I think it will work well during the trip too.
