Brunch spread at 37.5 Signature Cheongdam

Today I'm sharing my visit to 37.5 Signature Cheongdam (37.5 시그니처 청담점), a well-known spot in Cheongdam. The weather's been so nice lately, so are you all treating yourselves to a good brunch for a change of mood? For a while now I'd had sweet, crispy French toast and a fresh salad circling around my head.

37.5 Signature Cheongdam, a brunch spot in Cheongdam-dong

So I went to 37.5 Signature Cheongdam, which has a reputation as one of Cheongdam-dong's top brunch spots.

It's already loved by lots of people as a date spot or a place for brunch get-togethers, so my expectations were high. To tell you the result first, the meal was more satisfying than I expected. From the atmosphere to the food, nothing was lacking, so here's my review of that tasty day.

Getting to 37.5 Signature Cheongdam from Cheongdam Station, and parking

37.5 Signature Cheongdam is a 4–5 minute walk from Exit 7 of Cheongdam Station on Line 7, so it's convenient by public transport. It sits near the border of Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong, so it should also work for anyone looking for a restaurant in Samseong-dong.

Building entrance of 37.5 Signature Cheongdam, within walking distance of Cheongdam Station

The building has its own parking, so driving is no worry. Enter through the Hollys Coffee alley on the first floor and you'll see the basement parking entrance. There was more space than I expected, which was nice, and parking is free for 1 hour 30 minutes on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends, so keep that in mind if you're coming by car.

White and gold second-floor interior, and high chairs

When you go up to the second floor and open the door, the interior caught my eye right away: white and gold tones blended neatly, luxurious yet stylish.

With marble-look tables and showy lighting, you get great photos wherever you shoot. It's a sunlight and lighting paradise. Natural light pours in through the big windows, so the whole place feels bright, and my mood lifted the moment I walked in.

The space is large too, and I could see why it's popular for couples' dates and for get-togethers in Cheongdam-dong.

They also have high chairs for those coming with kids. With separate men's and women's restrooms and accessible facilities as well, I thought it was a thoughtful place for a family gathering with a child.

37.5 Signature Cheongdam menu and what we ordered

After settling in, I browsed the menu slowly on the tablet. True to a brunch restaurant, the menu was varied: pasta, risotto, steak, salad and pizza. Everything looked delicious, so I agonized for a long while before ordering what I hoped was the best combination.

  • Chicken cobb salad (₩12,900)
  • Earl Grey cream French toast (₩18,900)

I liked that the tablet on each table lets you order comfortably while looking at photos. The visuals already passed the test, so I waited excitedly for the food.

Taste review 😋

Finally the dishes I'd been waiting for were set down one by one, and I was moved the moment I saw them.

Chicken cobb salad

The salad came out first. The plate piled full was my first surprise, and then came the generous toppings: chicken breast, avocado, bacon, cherry tomatoes, egg, cheese, olives and crispy croutons.

I drizzled on the dressing and took a bite. The vegetables were fresh with a lovely crunch. The combination of savory cheese, grilled chicken and avocado was excellent, and I realized a salad could be this tasty and filling.

Gorgonzola pizza

The twist with the pizza here is the dough. It isn't ordinary bread dough but crispy, nutty pastry dough that tears apart in layers.

Gorgonzola pizza on pastry dough

Bite in and it's crisp outside and moist inside, with the salty richness of strong gorgonzola filling your mouth. Dip it in the sweet honey served alongside and you get the textbook sweet-and-salty combo. Thanks to the pastry, I ate it all the way to the last bit of crust.

Earl Grey cream French toast

Next came the dessert-slash-main that's the star of brunch. Thick, buttery brioche toast sits on a generous layer of house-made Earl Grey cream spread across the plate, prettily plated with fresh seasonal fruit: grapefruit, banana and kiwi.

I drizzled on maple syrup and ate the soft toast topped with Earl Grey cream, and the fragrant black tea aroma and sweetness blended gently into pure happiness. It was pleasantly sweet without being heavy.

Overall verdict ✨

Now I understand why 37.5 Signature Cheongdam has been loved for so long as one of Seoul's best brunch spots. The elegant, pretty interior made the whole meal feel like a special day, and every dish I ordered was better than expected.
