Busan pork belly restaurant for a family dinner: Bulmak Yeolsam Sajik
Bulmak Yeolsam Sajik is a samgyeopsal (pork belly) and makchang (grilled pork intestine) restaurant in Sajik-dong, Dongnae, Busan, open until 2am. Dining with her in-laws, the writer and three others ordered the pork set (₩48,000) plus extra kkodeulsal (chewy pork jowl) and raw makchang with mul naengmyeon (cold noodle soup); the pre-grilled makchang had no off smell and the gochujang sauce was the clear favorite. Between the food and the owner's slushy-soju performance, Bulmak Yeolsam Sajik made for a fun family night out.
