Quiet late-evening gyukatsu and Kirin draft at Ichigyu, Seoul Station
Ichigyu Seoul Station Branch is a gyukatsu (Japanese beef cutlet) restaurant on basement level 1 of the LG Seoul Station Building in Jung-gu, Seoul. On a late-evening visit to an almost empty dining room, the writer ordered gyukatsu from 19,500 won and a sirloin steak set, grilled both on the tabletop brazier with Isigny butter, and drank Kirin Ichiban draft beer alongside. The beef was as tender as the gyukatsu eaten in Osaka, making Ichigyu the top gyukatsu chain in Korea by this account.
