Seoul Korean restaurant for galbitang breakfast: Hoegi Wang Galbitang
Hoegi Wang Galbitang (회기왕갈비탕) is a Korean restaurant near Hoegi Station in Dongdaemun, Seoul, where the writer had a hearty breakfast of bone-in special wang galbitang (₩18,000). The white broth came with huge short rib bones, plus kimchi, kkakdugi and deodeok-muchim on the side, and the misugaru and barley gangjeong were a welcome touch. Hoegi Wang Galbitang is a meal worth coming back for whenever a hot bowl of soup sounds right.
