Sinchon Station hair salon pre-wedding ash brown tone-down: Demon Hair
In short
Demon Hair Sinchon Branch is a fixed-price hair salon on the 2nd floor of a building in the alley between Sinchon Station Exit 1 and Hyundai Department Store in Seodaemun, Seoul. Ahead of an October wedding and an important presentation, the writer evened out faded, patchy hair with an all-over ash brown tone-down dye and, because of thin and very frizzy curly hair, added scalp safety care for ₩30,000, the 50% first-visit price. The tone-down came out natural and exactly the color discussed in the consultation, and both the result and the service at Demon Hair Sinchon Branch were satisfying.

Demon Hair Sinchon Branch near Sinchon Station: location and basics
Demon Hair Sinchon Branch (데몬헤어 신촌점) is at 87-4 Sinchon-ro, Na-dong 2nd floor, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the 2nd floor of a building in the alley between Sinchon Station Exit 1 and Hyundai Department Store. It is open daily 10:30–20:30, and there is no parking, so you'll need to use a nearby public parking lot.
I went on a Friday, and the shop filled up completely while I was getting my hair done. It's a university area, so it's busy even on weekdays. I'd recommend booking ahead.
What is the inside of Demon Hair Sinchon Branch like?
There's a view seat on one side, and plenty of styling seats with mirrors. The 5th floor of the same building also has a Sinchon Station café famous for its view.

They have a range of drinks: dungulle tea (Solomon's seal tea), coffee, green tea and more. I asked for iced green tea and they brought it with some snacks, so I could snack comfortably until my hair was finished.
Demon Hair Sinchon Branch prices and products

Demon Hair Sinchon Branch runs fixed prices on every menu item and uses global brand products for style AS (aftercare). Even though prices are reasonable for a university-area salon, they use proven products like L'Oréal and Milbon, which made me trust it more.
Maybe because it has been running for a long time, since 10 years ago, they also have various promotions: a cashback program, member referrals, a membership program, anniversary discounts and more.

Why did I choose an ash brown tone-down dye before my wedding?
I had an important PT (personal training) schedule coming up, and also my wedding in October, so I got an ash brown tone-down dye at Demon Hair Sinchon Branch.
When I searched for bride dye colors, everyone recommended ash brown! It has no red tint and tones down naturally, so they say your skin looks brighter and your features look more defined.

That day the senior stylist (실장님) helped me, and was kind through the whole dye process, from choosing the color on. Demon Hair Sinchon Branch is also known for layered cuts, but my wedding is a few months away, so I put off the cut until later.

Faded, patchy hair tidied up with an all-over tone-down
I had already done a tone-down dye on the outer layer of my hair, but the color faded and brightened, so it looked patchy and not neat. So I decided to do an all-over ash brown tone-down dye to give it a calm look.

How much is the scalp safety care and how does it go?
The scalp safety care option at Demon Hair Sinchon Branch is ₩60,000 regular price, but since it was my first visit I could add it for ₩30,000 with 50% off. My hair is thin and I have severe unruly curls, so I added this option. Before starting, they put a cap on me so the dye wouldn't get on my ears and above my forehead.

In the process, they carefully applied silky oil, which protects the scalp, to my scalp before the dye, dried it once with a hair dryer, and then applied the dye with silky oil added.

They say the silky oil is a natural-ingredient scalp protector that also prevents color fading after dyeing, and that it contains aroma. They used it again in the finishing step after the dye was done.

After the dye was applied carefully, there was a waiting time. Then they rinsed and shampooed thoroughly.

The color I described in the first consultation came out. They applied hair silky oil and finished carefully with a blow-dry.
Ash brown tone-down dye before and after

I loved the ash brown tone-down dye from Demon Hair Sinchon Branch the moment I saw how naturally it toned down. They were kind through to the very end, so I was happy with the service too.
Who is a Demon Hair Sinchon Branch tone-down dye good for?

If you're looking for a Sinchon Station hair salon that uses brands like Milbon and L'Oréal at a reasonable price, Demon Hair Sinchon Branch is a great fit. Reasonable prices, kind service and good products, that trio seems to be why so many customers come.
