Nowon buffet with unlimited beer and desserts: Kuu Kuu
In short
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a large sushi buffet in Nowon, Seoul, with dishes from several countries and desserts. On a weekday evening, I checked out the spacious seating, play area, unlimited beer, and made-to-order noodle dishes. Verdict: a great-value choice for groups with different tastes.

Location and parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch for dinner because I wanted to eat lots of different dishes in one go. The biggest appeal of Kuu Kuu is definitely being able to enjoy everything from sushi to all kinds of dishes in one place.
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the sixth floor of the building shared by Terrarium and Gwangyeom Church.
For parking, the first 2 hours are free at the Seoul Oncheon building. The Haegye Technotown underground parking lot is available every Saturday, with up to 4 hours free.

The prices felt very reasonable too, so it was easy to visit without feeling burdened. Weekday lunch is especially popular, I heard, since you can try a wide range of dishes for even less. Overall, the lineup was excellent for the price, making it a good fit for anyone looking for a great-value buffet.
Spacious seating and a play area
Seeing so much waiting space set aside like this, I imagine there must be quite a wait on weekends.
Even though I came on a weekday evening, there were quite a lot of guests!! They say the restaurant is over 300 pyeong, and once I stepped inside, it really did feel huge and comfortable. There was plenty of room between the tables and seats, and even the kitchen looked neatly maintained. With so much space, it seemed great for a date, a family meal, a friends' gathering, or even a company dinner.

There is even a play area. If you are looking for somewhere to visit with a larger group, I would recommend it as a good spot for a family gathering in Nowon too.

What sushi and rolls are available?
The first things that caught my eye were, of course, the sushi, rolls, and gunkan sushi (battleship-style sushi). A chef with a background in traditional Japanese cuisine makes sashimi and sushi with fresh fish, and there were also creative rolls made with a variety of ingredients. There were so many choices that I thought it would be better to start by picking out your favorites rather than trying every single one from the beginning.

Meals beyond sushi and unlimited beer
As you would expect from a buffet, there were plenty of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes in addition to sushi. There were lots of choices, from rice dishes and cooked dishes to noodles, so it was nice that even people who do not like sushi could eat according to their own tastes. Dishes such as naengmomil (cold buckwheat noodles) and noodle soup were made fresh to order, so you could enjoy them warm or chilled right away.
And one detail I quietly loved at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch was the unlimited beer. It seems like a pretty appealing setup for anyone who wants a light drink with dinner.

Desserts from waffles to a chocolate fountain
After I had mostly finished eating, I looked around the dessert corner too. There was an incredible variety: waffles, bead ice cream, sorbet, a chocolate fountain, tteok (rice cakes), fruit, cake, and bread. In particular, you could dip sweet treats into the chocolate fountain or finish with bead ice cream and sorbet, so I think children would enjoy it too.

How was it for a family gathering?
From the main dishes to dessert, there were so many varieties that it would honestly be difficult to try everything in one visit, haha. I think the charm of a buffet is choosing the things you want and tasting a little of lots of different dishes. That is why it seemed especially good for people looking for a family gathering spot in Nowon: even if everyone has different tastes, each person can comfortably eat what they want.
With a space of over 300 pyeong, a wide range of sushi and sashimi, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes, noodle dishes, and desserts, plus reasonable prices, I was satisfied overall. It also seems useful for visiting with a group of friends or for a company dinner. It was a great-value buffet for when you want to fill up on lots of different dishes without feeling burdened.
Weekday lunch is said to be available at an even more reasonable price, so I would like to come back at lunchtime next time. If you are looking for a place for a family meal or gathering, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch could be a good option in Nowon. From sushi to desserts, it is a great-value buffet where it is easy to choose exactly what you like, haha. Keep it in mind if you are looking for somewhere in Nowon where a large group can eat together!
