I first found Something About Coffee just by walking past, and now it's one of the cafés I think of whenever I go to Gangnam, haha.

Maybe because it's so famous, it's crowded every time I go. But that also makes the mood lively, with everyone enjoying desserts and coffee, so it really feels like a hot spot!

Is the cake at Something About Coffee really that good?

The biggest reason I like Something About Coffee is the desserts, especially the cake. Honestly, the desserts are the number one reason I love this café, haha.

I tried the cake on my first visit and it was just so good! Café cakes are sometimes pretty to look at but ordinary in taste, but this one was different. The sheet was moist, the cream was soft, and the balance of everything was so good that I was amazed right away, lol.

After that I started dropping by every time I went to Gangnam, and I really have visited a lot, all with my own money. It's not an ad or a sponsorship; I've paid for this café many times, so I think I feel extra fond of it, haha.

I order cake almost every time, and I was satisfied every single time. The baked sweets (gugeun gwaja) are good too, so I think anyone who loves desserts would really like it!

It's crowded, but it never felt like it was just noisy. I liked the vibe inside too. It has that lively Gangnam energy, which made it great for chatting with friends. You sip a coffee, and before you know it a lot of time has flown by, lol.

The mango cake makes you say "Wow, what is this?" from the first bite 🍰 The mango is really sweet and juicy, and with the cream the combination is just crazy… It's not greasy at all, with a perfect balance of fresh and sweet, so it's a cake I keep thinking about 👍
