Korean BBQ after a soccer match in Yeonsinnae: Sambaek Hanu Daecheop
Sambaek Hanu Daecheop is a Hanwoo (Korean beef) BBQ restaurant in Yeonsinnae, Seoul, two minutes from Exit 7 of Yeonsinnae Station. Stopping in for round two after watching a soccer match at Sangam, the writer ordered the sambaek platter of aged beef short rib and Hanwoo brisket, plus a complimentary Hanwoo doenjang stew and a bowl of arrowroot noodle mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup). Even full on beer, the meat was good enough to keep the soju flowing — a solid value pick for beef short rib in the area.
