Café by Seoul Auto Gallery for a bottled Helsinki latte: Mini Male
In short
Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch is a roastery café in Seocho, Seoul, directly across from Seoul Auto Gallery. On a return visit, the writer paid 21,000 won for a signature Helsinki latte, a bottled Helsinki latte flacon, an orange pound cake and an Original Levain cookie, and liked the soft milky taste of the layered latte paired with the dense, hefty cookie. Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch is a weekday-only roastery café worth returning to for the Helsinki latte alone.

A café I liked on one visit tends to cross my mind again later. Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch is one of those places, so I went back haha

Last time I mostly looked at the coffee, but this time I picked a few things, including the signature Helsinki latte and some desserts.

Where is Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch?

Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch sits across from Seoul Auto Gallery, right in front of it. The exterior is done mainly in gray and black, so it stands out quite a bit among the surrounding buildings.

Instead of a big sign, "minimale kaffeeröster" is written simply near the top of the building, which suits the mood of the shop.

Mini Male Juam Branch opening hours and upcoming price increase
At the time of my visit, the posted hours were weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed on weekends and public holidays. The whole front is floor-to-ceiling glass, so you can see outside clearly from inside. It felt like a nice spot for a quick coffee on a weekday morning or around lunch ☕️

Oh, and there was a notice at the entrance that some menu prices go up from October 8, 2026. I visited on October 1, so the prices below are from the time of my visit haha
An open roastery layout where you can watch the coffee being made
Walk into Mini Male Coffee Roaster Juam Branch and the first things you see are a long bar and the coffee equipment. With the gray walls and lots of stainless steel, it feels less like a flashy café and more like a roastery's working space.

Several bean grinders are lined up, and you can watch the coffee being made right in front of you. On one side, bakery items like cookies and pound cakes are displayed, and the packaging design really catches the eye. The big German lettering made me think they were imported at first, but they were the handmade New York cookies lol

What did I order at Mini Male Juam Branch, and how much did it cost?

This time I picked four items. Here is what I ordered, ₩21,000 in total.
- Helsinki latte ₩5,200
- Helsinki latte flacon (bottled) ₩6,500
- Orange pound cake ₩4,800
- Handmade New York cookie, Original Levain ₩4,500

How do the Helsinki latte and the bottled Helsinki latte flacon taste?
Mini Male's iced Helsinki latte had a softer, milkier feel than a regular café latte, with the coffee aroma following behind. Even on a return visit, it's hard to walk past the Helsinki latte haha The iced one in the glass has milk at the bottom and coffee on top in layers, so it looked quite good when I first got it, and once mixed it tasted just like that.

The name is a little unusual, but I could tell it isn't pushed as the signature for nothing. The bottled Helsinki latte looked easy to take away, too. The bottle design is pretty enough that it photographs well all on its own lol
Levain cookie and orange pound cake to pair with your coffee 🍪
Mini Male's Original Levain cookie was clearly thick at first glance. It's a hefty style rather than a thin, crisp cookie, so it was nice to eat slowly alongside a cup of coffee.

The orange pound cake shows pieces of orange on top, so I expected a fresh, tangy taste, and taking a bite between sips of coffee, the pairing worked quite well.

Ordering one cookie and one pound cake meant different textures, so it was fun to alternate between them haha After my last visit I came back, and trying the bakery items this time gave me a better sense of what Mini Male is like.

Next time I'll pick another cookie from the display case. I'll probably order the Helsinki latte again too 😋
