Today I'm sharing Dumburger Yeouido, where I went for a hearty meal after finishing a run at Yeouido Hangang Park. It's on the ground floor of the building right behind the KBS Annex, so it wasn't hard to find, and what stuck with me was the American vibe and a burger that sticks to the basics.
Dumburger Yeouido is a premium fast-food brand that grills its patties in-store and cooks to order. It was my first visit, so I ordered the Dumburger set and coleslaw. The soft patty, bun and sauce went together nicely, and the fries were salty enough to pair well with the burger. It's a good place to drop in when you want a filling meal after a run or just a handmade burger in Yeouido.

Where is Dumburger Yeouido and what's the atmosphere like?
Dumburger Yeouido is on the ground floor of the building right behind the KBS Annex, at 11 Uisadang-daero 1-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Unit 113 on the 1st floor. After a fun run at Yeouido Hangang Park, I wanted a proper burger today and headed to Dumburger Yeouido. I'd been curious because the brand seems to be opening branches all over lately.

Inside, the American-style interior and upbeat music made for a lively mood. What I liked is that there's a large sink inside the restaurant. It's handy for washing your hands before the burger, and you can tidy up right after eating too, which felt clean.

What did I order on my first visit to Dumburger Yeouido?
Since it was my first time, I picked the Dumburger set, the most basic option, and added coleslaw as a side. You can choose from the Pepsi lineup for your drink, so I went with Zero Pepsi Cola. Dumburger Yeouido says it grills its patties in-store and cooks only after an order comes in. They also say they prepare fresh ingredients and make their sauces from their own recipes.

How did the Dumburger taste?
The Dumburger brought out the charm of a basic burger. The patty was soft, and the bun, patty, sauce and fillings blended well without any one of them standing out too much. With each bite I felt a balance where nothing played separately, and I was happy with that. If you enjoy the harmony of patty, bun and sauce more than overly complicated flavors, this is an easy burger to enjoy.

The fries are on the salty side
The french fries in the Dumburger set were a bit saltier than at other places.

So when I ate them with the burger, I could taste the fries even better.

Generous, refreshing coleslaw
The coleslaw at Dumburger Yeouido came in a generous portion, so it was nice to have in between bites of the burger and fries. It cleansed my palate, and I felt I'd chosen the right side for the set.

Is Dumburger Yeouido worth going back to?
Personally, Dumburger suited my taste better than Bath Burger (바스 버거). Burger preferences differ from person to person, of course, but I especially liked how the patty, bun and sauce came together. My rating is five stars out of five, and my chance of returning is 200%.

If you want a filling meal after a Hangang Park run in Yeouido, or a hamburger craving hits near the KBS Annex, Dumburger Yeouido is worth putting on your list. It's also fine as a Yeouido solo meal, and if you're after a Yeouido late-night bite or a dinner spot when a burger craving hits late, do stop by.
