I had an errand near Magongnaru today, so my wife and I went out early in the morning. When we finished, it was suddenly lunchtime! We wondered what to eat, went looking for a good pasta place, and ended up at Pasta Go Magok Branch, a pasta spot in Magongnaru with great value.
Pasta Go Magok Branch: location, hours and parking
Pasta Go Magok Branch is at 6 Magokjungang 5-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 2nd floor (Unit 215) of Botanic Prugio City, 84m from Exit 1 of Magongnaru Station (Line 9 and Airport Railroad). It is open 10:00–20:30, with last order at 19:50, and offers takeout, delivery, separate men's and women's restrooms, and parking.

We arrived at the underground parking lot of the Magok Botanic Prugio City retail building where Pasta Go is. There was plenty of space, so parking was easy, and they give a generous 2 hours of parking, so we could take our time over the meal. Oh, and it's close to Seoul Botanic Park, so it would also be a good stop after a visit to the park.

We took the elevator up to the 2nd floor and reached the Pasta Go entrance. The exterior is in brown tones, which felt warm and cozy.

Pasta Go Magok Branch 20% discount: does it apply to dining in?
When we visited, Pasta Go Magok Branch was running a 20% discount not only for takeout but also for dine-in meals. We could see it on the standing sign in front of the shop.
There was a sign out front, so we took a moment to read it before going in. I've often seen restaurants discount takeout, but Pasta Go discounts dine-in too, so it felt like we'd come to exactly the right value-for-money spot in Magok. Wondering how the food would taste, we headed inside.
Atmosphere and seating at Pasta Go Magok Branch

The inside of Pasta Go Magok Branch was clean and pleasant, a nice layout for enjoying a meal. It was a muggy day, and a fresh breeze welcomed us as we walked in.

With soft lighting, nice interior design and sweet music playing, the place had a date-friendly mood. We came just the two of us, and it felt like a date for the first time in a while. Really lovely.
The shop is divided into tables for groups and seats for one or two people. The tables for three or more made me think it would be great to stop by with kids after a family trip to Seoul Botanic Park.

On the other side were small two-person tables, which felt just right for couples on a date or for eating alone without any pressure. We took a two-person table.
How to order at Pasta Go Magok Branch, and what two of us ate and paid

You check the menu and order at the kiosk at Pasta Go Magok Branch. There's also a menu board with photos, so we picked our dishes from the board, where we could see everything at a glance.

The 20% discount doesn't apply to just one dish. It covers everything from risotto and pasta to steak and sides, so the cost feels much lighter, which I really liked. Led by the best-selling garlic butter cream risotto, there were all kinds of risotto, pasta, steak and even mini pizzas, and this is what we ordered.
- (Tomato) cheese shower risotto ₩11,920
- Shrimp Toowoomba pasta ₩11,920
- Gorgonzola mini pizza ₩4,400
- Green salad ₩3,600
- Coca-Cola ₩2,000
- Total ₩33,840

The self-service corner had pickles, plates, straws, tissues and more, all easy to help yourself to.

A little later all our food was ready, and we carried it to the table and set it out. Seeing the table packed with such a generous spread, my stomach started rumbling and my mouth watering.

The pasta and risotto each came with a morning roll on top, which looked perfect for dipping in the sauce. I also liked that the cola, a great match for pasta and pizza, came with a cup of ice. With the food all laid out, it was time to dig in!

How does Pasta Go's shrimp Toowoomba pasta taste?
The shrimp Toowoomba cream pasta at Pasta Go Magok Branch is one of the best sellers, and we had it for ₩11,920. At under ₩12,000 the value is great, and it looked appetizing too.

I hear Pasta Go keeps prices low while using a secret sauce developed by chefs with long restaurant experience, and maybe that's why it tasted so good. The first bite of pasta clung nicely to the mouth with a deep savory flavor. The morning roll dipped in the Toowoomba sauce was heavenly too!

The springy noodles had a great texture. They didn't get soggy, so we enjoyed them from start to finish, and the shrimp, well soaked in Toowoomba sauce, was excellent too.

How was the tomato cheese shower risotto?
The tomato cheese shower risotto (₩11,920) was my wife's pick for her main. A tangy tomato risotto comes piled high with cheese. The cheese was heaped over the risotto like a blanket of snow, and it looked delicious.

I took a spoonful too, and the tangy tomato risotto with the smooth cheese was a fantastic match.

Are the gorgonzola mini pizza and green salad worth ordering as sides?
The gorgonzola mini pizza at Pasta Go Magok Branch is ₩4,400, and dipped in honey it's sweet and really good. When you order a whole pizza, you often eat only a slice or two and leave the rest, so I liked that Pasta Go lets you order a mini pizza.

The green salad is ₩3,600, good value, and it tasted even better eaten together with the pasta, risotto and pizza.

Pasta Go Magok Branch couple's lunch: the verdict
The two of us had risotto, pasta, mini pizza, salad and cola for ₩33,840 at Pasta Go Magok Branch. Every dish tasted good, and we finished happily, even cleaning up the sauce. I recommend Pasta Go as a pasta spot to visit after a trip to Seoul Botanic Park or around Magongnaru and Magok.
