Songdo outlet café with outdoor tables: 7,500 won hojicha Wunder Gato

Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a takeout-only café in Yeonsu, Incheon, set right at the basement 1 food court entrance in front of the market and bakery. The Wunder Gato topped with hojicha ice cream costs 7,500 won, and eaten at an outdoor table just outside the shop, the nutty hojicha ice cream matched the coffee, which was not bitter at all. If you like affogato, the Wunder Gato at Wunder Coffee Bar makes an easy mid-shopping break.

Jungsan-dong ₩20,900 dinner shabu-shabu buffet: Pyeonbaek Hoegwan

Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat restaurant on Haneulbyeolbit-ro in Jungsan-dong, Yeongjong, Incheon, serving cypress-steamed meat (pyeonbaekjjim), shabu-shabu and rice-paper rolls. Dinner costs ₩20,900, with ₩7,900 for a 4-to-7-year-old; on this visit with a 7-year-old niece, the cypress steam came first, then brisket (chadolbagi) and beef shank (yangji) swished in half spicy, half plain broth — the brisket tasted far better, and the plain broth beat the spicy one. The playroom right beside the hall makes Pyeonbaek Hoegwan easy for families with kids, though the salad bar had no perilla leaves.
