Decaf roastery café in Hagik-dong, Incheon: Sesame Dot at Tiny Dot

Tiny Dot is a multi-floor roastery café in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon that roasts its own beans and bakes its desserts in-house. On the way back from seeing her mother off at Incheon Airport, the writer stopped at Tiny Dot for a Sesame Dot and an iced americano, both switched to decaf beans, plus an Earl Grey scone and a croffle. With tasty decaf coffee, parking, an elevator and roomy laptop-friendly tables, Tiny Dot is a café the writer will definitely revisit.

Sushi Doku The Songdo is a sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon, connected to Songdo Premium Hyundai Outlet (Songhyeona). On a revisit at 11am on a weekday, the writer ordered two Premium Sushi Sets at 25,900 won each; the large staff brought the food out quickly, and this time the white fish nigiri beat the salmon as the best bite. Sushi Doku The Songdo is a good fit for a quick, satisfying lunch before or after shopping at Songhyeona.

The mudfish soup is thick enough that it needs no added perilla seed powder, and refills are available. Verdict: park at the Sincheon Station public lot, eat a hearty meal at Namwon Cham Chueotang, then browse Sammi Market.
